John VANCE was born abt. 1781 in Russell, County Virginia. He is the son of Abner VANCE and Susannah HOWARD. He married 1st: Hannah RADAR abt. 1810 in Virginia. Hannah RADAR was born abt. 1794. Hannah RADAR is the daughter of John RADAR and Susannah CURRY. He married 2nd: (Possibly) Mary "Polly WILSON b. abt. 1813. John VANCE died bef. 1860 in Logan Va/WVa. John VANCE and Hannah RADAR had 10 children that I have listed. They are:
(1) Isabelle VANCE b. 1814/15,
(2) Tabitha VANCE b. 1825,
(3) Levi VANCE b. 1826,
(4) Sena VANCE b. 1828,
(5) Washington VANCE b. 1815,
(6) Susannah VANCE b. abt. 1815,
(7) Nancy Ann VANCE b. abt. 1823,
(8) Elizabeth VANCE b. abt. 1825,
(9) William VANCE b. abt. 1811,
(10) Rachel VANCE b. abt. 1810.
