Abner VANCE Jr. was born about 1796 in probably Russell County, Virginia. He is the son of Abner VANCE and Susannah HOWARD. He married Jane PERRY about 1817/25. Jane PERRY was born about 1807 in Logan County Virginia. Jane is the daughter of Joseph PERRY and Isobel SHIRKEY. She died after 1870 in Logan Co West Virginia. Abner died after 1870 in Logan County West Virginia. Abner VANCE Jr. and Jane PERRY had 10 children that I have listed. They are:

(10)Isobel "Ibbie" VANCE b. 1826.
