He married Abinda Louise SMITH on 31-Mar-1904. She was born on 30-Jun-1884. She died 8-Jan-1932 in Red Ash. She is buried in the VANCE family cemetery at Red Ash. She is the daughter of Jackson SMITH and Serepta Leticia HICKS.
