Revival has came to Calvary Temple Full Gospel Church!
If you are looking for a church with love, and fellowship, and the true word of God, then you are looking for Calvary Temple Full Gospel Church, because that is what we have!!
The young men from Appalachian Teen Challenge will be at Calvary Temple Full Gospel Church in August for our homecoming (I will post the exact date later) at 10:00 AM. If you haven't heard, and saw these young men, then you need to come and be us as we welcome them. Prepare yourself for a great time in the Lord, with testamonies, and fellowship with young men that truly love the Lord! Bring someone having problems with drugs, or alcohol, I think they would benefit from what they would hear. If possible bring an item of canned food for a donation to this Great Program that is helping many young men find their place in the world, and in God's plan for their life!
We have begun the construction of our new church building. The new church will have 3200 square feet more than our old building, with a much larger sanctuary, and a nursery for our future leaders in Christ should Jesus delay his return that long. With a seperate balcony section for the sound system, and cameras for the recording of the word of God for Calvary Temple's outreach television ministry on The New beginning Station, Adelphia channel 8 at 10:00 P.M. each Tuesday. If you would like to see the new church building in progress just follow the directions below as the new building is within 100 feet of the old one, which allows us to use the old building as well.
I will try to upload some pictures of the building process as soon as I get the time.
Directions to the Church:
Coming from Buchanan County, Virginia on US Route 460 West: After you cross the Buchanan-Tazewell County line stay on US Route 460 for about 6 or seven miles you will go through 4 traffic lights, and just before the fifth traffic light you will make a right onto Business 460 heading toward downtown Richlands. Go about 1/4 mile, and make a right up over the railroad tracks it will be your first right. This is Kents Ridge Road, stay on Kents Ridge Road until you come to a stop sign, make a right at the stop sign, there will be a Shell Food Mart on your left, make a left beside of the Shell Food Mart, The Masonic Lodge building will be on your right directly across from the Shell Food Mart. I think this is Henderson St. anyway, stay on this street, you will make a sharp left, and then a sharp right, you will pass a few driveways and then come to Vickey Lane on your left, this is the first street on your left after the sharp right-hand curve. Take a left onto Vickey Lane and come up the hill, you will see the church on the hill above you, come on up and let's worship God.
