This page is the prologue to the rule book and I think that it does an excellent job of illustrating the types of soul searching dilemmas that characters in the campaign face. It is written by a young priest named Alustro. Read this page before going on to any other page.
This page is the written response to the above page and is written by Alustro's uncle Palomon who is an Archbishop.
This is the main setting page which allows you to access information regarding the setting, history, groups (nobles, church, merchant league, aliens.) Additionally, all of the prologues to all of the books are available for read under the setting section of the website. Please visit the page at the top of the list before reading this.
HDI has made available a pdf booklet to serve as an introduction to the Fading Suns world that is similar to the setting website above. However, the pdf version does contain many differences. Some of the differences are:
This is a guide to utilizing Latin to enhance gaming in the world of Fading Suns. The guide consists of two main parts. The first part is an improved version of the Latin from the LARP version of Fading Suns. The second part contains a series of Latin phrases and expressions that I've created for use in my Fading Suns campaigns that may easily be transported to other people's campaigns.
This is a mature discussion group that provides many entertaining debates as well as offers help on clarifying material or providing campaign ideas.
