He is sweet and dumb. But I also must add that Peter is not at all stupid. He was probably the most educated of all the Monkees. He liked Hari Krishna and meditation and brown rice. He is really the oldest out of all the Monkees(older than Mike by 10 months), but all the books and biographies they did made his birthday February 13, 1944 which is wrong. They did it because they figured that the dummy of the group shouldn't be the oldest. Peter was basically a musical genius. Before he joined the Monkees bandwagon, he had mastered 9 musical instruments. He taught Davy how to play the bass and Micky how to play the drums. In my opinion, he could have taught Mike a thing or two. Peter was way better at the guitar than Mike was, but since Mike was so stubborn, he refused to let Peter play the guitar except on some songs that Peter wrote or produced was he "allowed" to play the guitar. Otherwise, he was either stuck playing the piano/ keyboards or the bass. Peter was not too thrilled to be playing the part of a dummy, but since he had to, he gave it his best shot. And what a shot it was!! He played that dummy part extrememly well. Yay for Peter!!
