Jennifer Vasquez arrives at the airport to meet her longtime ICQ buddy Ashlee Phillips.  They think this will be just a really cool visit, but they don’t know HOW cool it’ll become.

Ashlee recognizes Jen right away and runs over to greet her.

“Jen! Hi!!” Ash says excitedly.

“Ashlee!!!” Jen yells just as excited.

Ash and Jen hug out of pure joy of meeting each other for the first time.

They both walk over to Jen’s dad’s car and are on their way to Jen’s house.

~10 minutes later~

They arrive at Jen’s house and immediately go up to Jen’s room and unpack Ash’s stuff.

Jen looks over toward Ash’s direction. “SO, how was the flight?”

Ashlee get a big grin on her face. “It was all good!  The guy next to me on the plane was so hot!”

Jen raises her eyebrows in question.  “Really?  What’d he look like?”

Ashlee’s grin grows even wider. “Jay Gordon all the way baby!”

A look of amazement spreads across Jen’s face.  “You’re serious?  EEK!  He is SO hot!!”

Ashlee nods.  “I know!  YUMMY!”

After Ash unpacks all of her things.  Jen wonders what they can do for the rest of the evening.  “So do you wanna go rent a movie or something?”
“Sure!”

Jen and Ash get a ride from Jen’s dad to Blockbuster.   After wandering around the store for a couple of minutes and looking at each self almost twice already, Ash sees this is going nowhere.

“What do you want to get?”
“I dunno you pick.”

Ashlee thinks for a moment.  Then notices a familiar looking video on the shelf they must’ve skipped over before. “Hmm.. how about.. umm, OH!  Look!  Family Values is here to rent!”
“Let’s get it!”

Jen grabs the copy of Family Values off of the shelf and they go rent it.

While watching Family Values Jen notices something.

Jen sighs. “This have everything BUT Coal Chamber.  And you know how I love my Coal Chamber!"

Ashlee can’t believe her ears.  “Who gives a rats ass?  It’s got Orgy on it, don’t it?”

Jen argues back. “I do!”  The thought of Coal Chamber suddenly reminds Jen of something.  “Hey did you know that Coal Chamber, Orgy, and KoRn are coming to town soon?”

With a look of disbelief on her face, Ashlee says, “You’re kiddin’ me right?”

Jen shakes her head.  “Nope!  They’re coming in like 2 days!!”

Ashlee looks at Jen. “Do you have tickets?”

“No… they’re like $40 a piece,” Jen frowns.

“And?!?!”

“I don’t have $40!!”

It’s Ashlee’s turn to frown now.  “Good reason.”

After the video is over, they decide to plan what to do the next day.
With a few minutes of thinking Jen decided. “I say we hit the mall.”

Ash thinks about this for a moment, then nods in approval.  “Sounds good to me!”

They then notice how extremely tired they both are so they go to bed so they can get up in the morning to go to the mall.
Morning comes and Ash and Jen get up and get ready.

“Ashlee, that’s some sexy hair you got going there,” Jen tells her as she looks over at Ash’s hair.

Ashlee turns around and looks at Jen. “Yeah, but Jen, yours looks so much better!”

Jen laughs. “So?”

After getting all dressed and ready, they go down for breakfast.
Jen looks in the cabinets. “Cinnamon Toast Crunch or Cheerios?”

“Cinnamon Toast Crunch, dude.”

Jen agrees.  “Me too.”

They finish their breakfast then go find Jen’s dad to ask him for a ride to the mall.

Jen looks down at her dad sitting in his chair.  “Daddy, can you take me and Ashlee to the mall?”

“Sure in a minute,” he tells her.

Jen gushes. “Thank you daddy!”

Ash and Jen run outside to go warm up the van.

Mr. Vasquez gets in and turns around to look at them. “Which mall are you going to?”

“I was thinking South Towne,” Jen replies.

Mr. Vasquez throws his hands in the air.  “Sure!  Pick the one that’s the farthest away!”

Jen complains. “But Dad!! It’s the best one!”

“Fine, fine.  Let’s go.” He sighs.

~~25 minutes later~~

They hop out of the van and Jen turns to face her dad.  “Thanks Dad!  We’ll call you when we’re done.”

“Thanks Mr. Vasquez,”  Ashlee chimes in.

He nods.  “No problem.”

He drives off.

Jen and Ash decide Hot Topic is the best store, so they hit that one first.  They get in and Ashlee notices a group of guys standing around in the store.  After careful studying, Ashlee realizes who it is.

Ash leans toward Jen, and in a whisper says, “Isn’t that Jay Gordon and Jonathan Davis?”

Jen looks over towards the guys direction and gasps. “Oh my god, it is!  And that looks like Brian ‘Head’ Welch and Dez Fafara!”

“Should we go up to them and ask if it’s them?”

Jen nods.  “Sure!  I mean, what have we go to lose?”

Ashlee and Jen casually approach the 4 men who look ridiculous in their disguises.

Jen clears her throat.  “Excuse me,” she says politely, “but my friend and I were wondering..”

“…If’ you’re the guys from KoRn and Orgy?” Ashlee questions, cutting in.

“Yeah, and Coal Chamber?” Jen adds.

Jonathan chuckles. “What’s it to you?”

Ashlee looks at him.  “It means A LOT to me!”

Jonathan looks down at her. “Yes it is us, but shh!  We don’t want a big crowd coming here now.”

Jen smiles. “Oh my!  You guys are even hotter in person!”

Head blushes.  “Why thank you,” he says smiling.

“So are you guys here by yourselves,” Ash asks Jay.

Jay looks around. “No, actually we’re here with the rest of our band members.  At least we WERE.  I don’t know where they are now.”

Jen points. “Is that Rayna over there?”

“Yeah!”  Dez exclaims looking in the direction Jen was pointing.

Jay also notices more of the band members. “Hey that’s Bobby.  Let’s go see if they know where the others are.”

So Jon, Jay, Jen, Ash, Head and Dez go toward Rayna and Bobby.

“Hey Rayna, where are the rest of the guys?” Dez asks.

Rayna shrugs. “I don’t know.”  She then notices Jen and Ash.  “Who are they?”

Dez slaps his forehead.  “OH!  I’m sorry.  We didn’t quite catch your names…”

Jen’s the first to speak. “I’m Jen Vasquez.”
It’s Ash’s turn now. “And I’m Ashlee Phillips.”

“Nice to meet you,” the group of band members say.
They all shake hands.

“So why don’t we all go find the rest of the guys?” Jen questions.

Jon nods. “Sounds like a good idea to me,” he tells Jen.
 

They all parade off in search of the others.

Ashlee shouts.  "OH!  OH!  I see Paige!"

"Where?"  Jay asks.  He walks up and stands next to Ash.

She points. "Over there.  In the food court."

Jay finally notices Paige.  "I see him. Come on."

They all go over and catch up with Paige and rest of them.

Jay introduces them.  "Ashlee, Jen, this is Paige, Fieldy, Munky, and Meegs."

"We know, we know, Mr. Gordon." Ashlee pokes Jay. She turns to her new acquaintances.

"Nice to meet you," Jen and Ash say in unison.
They shake hands with them.

Head notices that they're missing Amir, Ryan, David, Bobby, and Munky.

"Let's go find them," Jen says to the others.

They start off to search for them, but Jen spots Amir.
"Oh baby!  I found Amir!!"

Paige searches around. "Where?"

She shows him.  "Over there by the make up stand."

Jay laughs. "That's a good place for him!"

Everyone laughs at that.

"HEY AMIR!"  Jay shouts.

Amir looks up.  He has an eyeliner in his hand.  "Yes Jay?"
"Where's the rest of the guys?"
"Over there," Amir points to a nearby store.

Everyone goes over to the rest of the guys.
"Hey guys, meet Jen and Ash," Jon tells them.

Jen and Ash say their hellos and shake hands with Amir, Ryan, David, Bobby, and Munky.

When Jen notices that everyone is there, she asks, "So, are you guys excited for tomorrows concert?"

Amir nods.  "Yeah.  Are you two gonna be there?"

They both frown and shake their heads no.

"That's to bad!" Jay sadly declares.

Fieldy interrupts.  "Hey guys, lets for lunch.  I'm HUNGRY!"

Jon laughs. "Fieldy, when AREN'T you hungry?"

"Heh heh," says Fieldy, unamused.

They all head for the food court, just to make Fieldy a happy man.  They split up to get their food, then join back up and sit down.  Ash is sitting between Jay and Paige while Jen sits between Dez and Head.  Ash is also sitting across from Jon and Jen's sitting across from Ranya.

"SO, Jon, who's opening for who?"  She asks, staring at Jon.

He answers with a quick, "Orgy and Coal Chamber."

She smiles. "That's so cool!  I wish we were going.."  She trails off.

Jay glances toward Ash.  "You know," he starts, "we could get you two in..."

Paige nods.  "Yeah, we could!"

Jen looks up.  "What would we have to do?"

Jay sits and thinks.  "What should we make 'em do?"

"Hmm... should we make 'em give us each a blow job?"  Jon asks, then busts out laughing.

"EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW SICK JON!"  Ash and Jen yell at him.

"Would you guys knock it off?!  Why can't we just give them the tickets?"  Rayna scolds.

Jon shakes his head no.  "That would be too easy"

"Grrrrr," Rayna growls.

After a few moments of being quiet, Jay finally speaks. "I say if you can guess at least two of our ages, you can get the tickets."

Ashlee almost jumps out of her seat. "THAT'S SOO EASY!  Jay, honey, you're 32!" She smiles at him.

Jay blushes. "That's right. One down, one to go. Jen your turn." He motions toward her.

Jen looks over toward Mikey.  “Ooh this is easy!  You’re 19!”

Mikey applauds. “Good job!”

Jen shouts happily, “AHA!  That means we get the tickets!  Anti-up!”

Jay reaches into his back pocket and pulls out two front row tickets to the concert.  He hands one each to Ash and Jen.

“OH my god!  They’re front row!” Jen shouts.

Dez then reaches into his pants pocket and pulls 2 backstage passes.
He hands one each to Jen and Ash also.

“Alright!  Backstage passes!”  Ash yells.

Jen sighs, “I feel like I’m dreaming!”

Ash nods.  “Me too.”

So, Ash and Jen hang out with the bands for the rest of the day until they notice the time.    They decide they should head back to Jen’s!

“It was nice meeting you two!”  Jay tells them.
“Yeah, it’s not everyday we get to meet girls as cute as you,“ Head adds.

Jen and Ash each blush at this comment.

Jay leans over toward Head.  “I want Ash, she’s mine,” Jay tells him in a loud whisper.

Head laughs.  “That’s okay.  I wanted Jen anyway!”

Jen and Ash start giggling, but are interrupted by Amir and Jon.
 

“What about the rest of us?” They ask together in unison.

“What about you?” Ask Jay and Head.

Dez points at Head and Jay.  “You can’t have ‘em for yourselves!”

“Yeah, share man!” Paige agrees.

Jen and Ash start losing it.

“This is the best day of my life!” Ash sighs.

“You guys are such PIGS,” Rayna tells the guys with a look of disgust on her face.

Jen laughs and smiles at Rayna.

After the boys start arguing, Ash tells everyone, “Well Jen and I better get going!  I can’t wait til we see ya tomorrow!”

Jen nods her head. “Yeah, my dad’s gonna kill me as it is!”

Before leaving, Jen and Ash hug everyone, then wave and walk away.  They promise to scream the loudest for all 3 bands.

While walking toward a phone, Jen exclaims, “Oh my god!  I can’t believe they’re right here in San Antonio, Texas!”

“I know and we’re going to their concert!”
“Life does not get any better than this,” Jen agrees.

Ash looks at Jen. “I could think of a few ways it could be better,” Ash mischievously tells Jen while winking.

Jen grins.  “You’ll probably get some tomorrow night!”
They both laugh.  They both find a phone and calls Jen dad to pick them up.

“Oh my god!  I can’t believe we just met Orgy, KoRn Coal Chamber!
 Jen shouts, obviously still in shock.

“I know dude!  They’re all so cool!”

Jen gets a worried look on her face.  “Oh man, what should we wear?!?!”

Ash pats her on the shoulder.  “I think I know what we should do when we get to your house.”

10 minutes later, Jen’s dad comes to pick them up.

Jen runs to the van.  “Daddy!  Guess what?”

“What?” he questions.

“We met the member of Orgy, KoRn and Coal Chamber!” she tells him joyfully.

“Yeah and we hung out with them the whole time they were there!” Ash adds.

He looks surprised.  “Really?  Aren’t they all in their 20’s and 30’s?”

“Well the drummer of Coal Chamber, Mikey is 19..”

Mr. Vasquez laughs.  “Oh, that’s comforting!”

“That’s not the best part!  They gave us tickets and backstage passes to the show!  Can we go Daddy, PLEASE?!?!”  Jen begs.

“Well I guess since they gave you the passes and all.. I guess..  it’s okay if you go.” He says.

“Thank you so much!!” they shout in unison.

He nods.  “Yeah.  Just remember this next time you ask for something though!
 

~15 minutes later they arrive at Jen’s~

When they get there, they go up the Jen’s room to fine something cute to wear.  Since they’re both the same size, they have no problem switching clothing.
 

Ashlee holds up a black party dress.  “Should I wear this?”

“Ash, I hate you!  You’re cuter than me!” Jen tells her.

“No I’m not!” Ash argues.

“You are too so just hush!”  Jen argues back.
Ash sighs.   “Whatever Jen.”

Jen picks out a purple and black camo skirt with a black tank top.  She includes all of her jewelry as well.  Ash decides on a form fitting black dress with lace sleeves.  She, too has her jewelry included.
They both pose and model and definitely decide their outfits are perfect.

“I can’t wait for tomorrow,” Ash gushes.

Jen nods.  “I can and I can’t.  I can’t because I want so badly to go the concert, but I can because the day after tomorrow is your last day here.”

Ash walks over to Jen and hugs her.  “Oh Jen!  I’ll be back!  Don’t worry, but at least my weekend with you was a blast!”

“True, but I’m gonna miss you dude!” Jen answers hugging back..

Ash steps back.  “You’ll see me on ICQ all the time!”

“Yeah, I guess so.  :imitating a flight attendant: ‘I hope you enjoyed your stay in San Antonio, Texas!’”
They both share a laugh at that then go downstairs to eat.  After eating they watch some movies until they fall asleep and wake up the next morning.

Jen yawns.  “What do you want to do today?”

Ash yawns as well.  “I have NO idea.  What kills time fast?”

Jen is silent for a moment.  “We could.. I dunno.. make cookies?”

Ash thinks about it for a moment.  “Sounds cool.  Lets do it.” She says after a couple of seconds.

Before they could even start to make cookies, they get into a flour fight and have an absolute blast.

After checking out all the flour on her, Jen comments. “Well, that was fun…”
“..and constructive…” Ash adds.
“…you mean Destructive..” Jen corrects her.

They survey the mess they made in the kitchen and laugh.

“Oopsie,” Ash says.

“I know what we’ll be doing for the next couple hours,” Jen tells her.

They both clean the kitchen until it’s spotless.  They’re both exhausted.

“Ugh.  I’m so tired.”   Jen says as she flops down on the couch.

Ash sits down next to her.  “Me too.  Lets crash ‘til its time to get ready for the concert.”

Jen agrees and they both fall asleep until 5 p.m. They both then go take a shower and get ready.  Ashlee is wearing her hair up in black butterfly clips and it’s curled all over the place.  Jen has her hair pulled up in spiked pigtails with clips.  They are both in their chosen outfits.  Jewelry clad and all.  By the time they’re done, its time to go.

“Daddy!!!  It’s time to GOOOO!”  Jen shouts.

“Okay, okay!  I’m coming!!” He shouts from a back room.

A minute later he comes down and gives them each a weird look.  He then heads outside toward the van with the girls following.

In the van Jen tells her dad, “I saw that weird look you gave us!  Trust me, we’re normal compared to the other people that are gonna be there!”

“Oh yeah,” Ash adds.

Mr. Vasquez drives fast to get them thereon time.  The concert is being held at an old fashioned building in the main Ball Room, so there is no seats and its General Admission. Before getting out of the van, Jen and Ash both check for tickets and backstage passes.

Jen looks at Ash.  “All systems go?”

“Check!” Ash tells her.

They run up to the doorman and give him the tickets.

“Looking good,” he comments.

In a sarcastic tone, Ash says, “Are you hitting on us?”
Jen starts laughing.

The doorman starts blushing.  “Uh-uh-um.. maybe.  What would you do if I was?”

“We’d do this..”  They both walk inside without giving him another look.

When they’re out of hearing distance, “Ashlee, are we a little hostile tonight?”   Jen asks.

They both start laughing at that and walk into the Ball Room and wait for the concert to begin.

After about a 25 minute wait Coal Chamber comes onstage.  Dez is out first and is wearing his makeup.  His hair is in a lollipop and braided.  He’s wearing a mesh shirt and black pants.  Rayna is in a short dress.  Meegs is in complete black and Mikey is in shorts.  They start off by singing “Sway.”  Jen and Ashlee go insane.  They get right up next to the stage after shoving some people out of the way.  They get near Dez and wave at him.  He looks down and his eyes light up and he smiles and waves back.

“He looks SO hot!”  Jen yells in Ashlee’s ear.

“He’s ALL yours, Jen!”  Ash shouts back.

Coal Chamber continue to play the rest of the songs on their c.d.  They then leave. Then the roadies hurry to change set.  Orgy comes out shortly after.  They are all dressed in different assortments of vinyl.  Jay notices Ash standing there screaming.  He then bends down much to the delight of all the females in the audience, and kisses Ash on the forehead.  Ashlee then gets a look of jealousy from all the female Jay fans in the audience.  Jay then stands back up and walks over toward his mic.  Orgy starts with “Stitches” and end with “Fiend.”  As Orgy walks offstage, they all blow kisses to Jen and Ash.

With a huge smile on her face, Ash asks Jen, “Did you see that?!?!?!”

“Oh hell yeah!” Jen replies.

The roadies come back out and make a quick change to KoRn.  Jonathan comes out clad in A.D.I.D.A.S gear along with Head and Munky in all the A.D.I.D.A.S they can.  Fieldy is wearing his trademark FUBU jersey.  David’s wearing a white wife beater with black A.D.I.D.A.S pants. They start out their set with “Freak On a Leash” and finish it with “Got the Life.”

During their set, Jen and Ash mosh and scream for Jon and Head the whole time.  In between their screaming, Jen and Ash blow kisses and wave at the band.  The band returns the waves and kisses.  After the concert, Jen and Ashlee show the guards their backstage passes and are allowed backstage.  The bands are happy to see them.

“Hey you guys did great!” Jen tells everyone.

“Thanks!” they all say.

“You so totally rocked!”  Ash includes.

She gets the same reply.

“Hey, I thought we had front row tickets, but they had no seats.” Jen says.

Jay nods.  “I know.  I thought they had seats but I guess I was wrong.  You two stayed in the front the whole time anyway!”

“That’s very true,” Ash agrees.

Amir looks at the two.  “So, are you two gonna come see us next time we’re here?”

“Actually, Ashlee doesn’t live around here.” Jen informs all.

“Yeah.  I live on Long Island. Blaaaaah.”  She includes.

“Aw, a New Yorker  I see.  Nicer than some I’ve met and a HELL of a lot HOTTER,” Jay says, smiling at Ash.

“And Jen is a cute as hell Texan!  Cutest chick I’ve ever seen!”  Head announces.

Jay and Head both get up.  Jay grabs Ash’s hand and Head grabs Jen.  They lead them out of the room.  Everyone laughs.

The rest of the band members meet and greet other fans that have gotten backstage.  Whenever they’re asked where Jay and Head are, they just shrug.

After about 45 minutes, Head, Jen, Ash and Jay return.  They all adjust their clothes.

“Alright.. Jay and Ash have magically switched makeup, as Head and Jen’s hair have been totally messed up.”  Amir laughs.  “Like we didn’t know what you 4 did!”

Ash and Jen stick their tongues out at Amir.  He yanks on ‘em.

“Ooooooooooww!!” Both girls shout out.

“So, now that you two are back from.. uh.. getting more introduced to Jay and Head, did you really like the concert?” Dez asks.

“LOVED IT!!  Thank you all so much for letting us come!!” Jen replies.

“And thank you for hanging out with us at the mall.” Jon says.

They then talk more about the concert, and various other things.  Jen and Ashlee get all the merchandise possible from all the bands, their autographs, tickets to the next concert in San Antonio and Long Island along with I.O.U’s, backstage passes, phone numbers, addresses, and pictures.  When it’s time for Jen and Ash to leave, they get goodbye hugs and kisses from everyone, and get escorted to Mr. Vasquez’s car.  They promise to write and see each other soon.

“That was a blast!”  Jen exclaims as the van pulls away.

“I know!!”

“I’m just bummed you’re flight leaves tomorrow morning.”

Ash hugs Jen again.  “Oh I’ll come see you again!  I promise!”

“Thanks Ash, but I’m still gonna miss you!  Boy will you have stories to tell when you get back!”

“You have some to tell as well, Miss Head!”

They talk the whole way home.  They shower and then go to bed.  The next morning comes real early, and before she knows it, Jen is hugging Ash goodbye at the airport.

“I’m gonna miss you so much!”

“I’ll miss you too,” Ash tells her.

“Get online when you get home, kay?” Jen tells her.

“Deal,” Ash nods.

Jen wipes the tears from her eyes.  “Hope to see you again soon!”

Ashlee’s crying now too.  “I will! I promise!”

With that, Ashlee turns and goes to take her flight home.  She’s got Orgy gear hanging out of everything.  Jen laughs and walks back the van with her dad…
