    Any Maximal that's pinned down by fire on the front line need no longer worry, not with Diehard on the prowl. His talent for picking just the right moment to hit an enemy made careless by overconfidence is uncanny. Though he quietly accepts their praise, as far as he's concerned he's just doing his job, and doing it well is it's own reward. His beast mode combination of Lion/Bear gives him a ferocity almost unmatched in battle, especially when combined with his razor sharp claws and slashing talons. In robot mode he wields a heavy neutron pulse cannon, A chest mounted grenade launcher that can fire explosive, fragment or smoke grenades, and a bladed whip formed from his tail. Diehard's devotion to his duty is admirable, but it tends to distance him from his comrades with his all business attitude. However that self-same devotion also insures that he need never worry about a shortage of help if he's in trouble.

Just a couple of quick notes, Diehard's mane is gold, despite it's silver appearence in the picture. Also his base (upper legs, waist, etc.) are brown and not blue as they appear to be for some reason. His gun by the way is a slightly modified G.I. Joe weapon from a Cobra FANG trooper.
