Welcome to the True Filipino Page. The site has been redesigned to celebrate our 10,000th hit. We here at the True Filipino Page hope you enjoy your stay. Take a look around, have mirienda and chat with other True Filipinos in the new chat room, and don't forget to pick up the "tinytrue.gif" or the new "basictru.gif" that commemorates the new look in the Icon Page.

This web site came to being as an idea of a proud pinoy named Marc Aure. We here at the True Filipino Page wanted to use this new medium we call the WWW to show the world our heritage, but do it with a little flavor. Pinoy and Pinay Web developers can now use the True Filipino Icons to show their pride on their True Pages. Gerard Reyes, Bim Paras, Sue DelaCruz, and Joanne Climaco are just a few examples of True Filipinos.

PURPOSE

The purpose of this page has expanded from the popular homepage directory to a on-line magazine that promotes Filipino heritage on the WWW and informs netizens of everything Filipino. Now the plan is as follows: The webmasters here at the True Filipino Page will write articles of events that happen globally deal with Filipino culture, design icons to put on your website, and all the while having a bunch of fun. Every month or so we will update the articles and create a new icon so that you may keep the variety up on your page. All that we ask is that you link whatever icon you use back here to The True Filipino Page. That's it.
