INDIAN MARKETS There is no limit to the number of places to see and enjoy in a country that offers an incredible diversity of regions, climates, cultural expressions and natural wonders. Ecuador is in an unique position to offer tourist the chance to visit colorful and primitives Indian markets every day of the week. Groups of Indians gather in several market places to trade, bargain and sell their ware and socialize afterwards in their own fashion. A typical market day starts in the morning and ends around the middle of the afternoon. Our trips to these enchanting places will also take us along the "Avenue of the Volcanoes" whose name comes from the Andean range flanked by more than 10 snow-copped volcanoes. This is a wonderful opportunity to get the feel of the actual life of Ecuadorian Indians while admiring native products which in many cases are surprising.
