The reason why I wanted to start a web page about the lore passed down from teacher to student since the beginning days of the martial arts, is because there are a million plus martial arts pages describing what a perticular martial art is, what moves are performed, who are the great martial artists of the past/present, etc. There are very few (if any) pages devoted to the living teachings that are handed down to students.

How I'd Like this to work

If you are a martial artist and have heard or know an interesting story that relates to the martial arts (martial artists, senseis, masters, grand masters only), clack it out in an e-mail and send it to me at rjlst28@hotmail.com or send it to my mailing address at:

Please make sure that I can read it so type in English if at all possible and write legibly so I can understand it. I will then post your story on my site and give you credit for the story.

I would like to let the eternal flame of the martial arts burn brightly, so please don't abuse this site. If you're not a "serious" martial artist then don't bother writing me. For now, konichiwa.
