My Trip to the Little A'Le'Inn

Part 2: Viva Las Vegas!

We left the Grand Canyon and took another long and boring drive through a barren desert. Our next stop was the Hoover Dam (You know what that is!!). It had the appearance of a movie set, and you could almost feel as if Godzilla or something would pop out and attack. The town of Boulder's entrance said "We built a dam and we're dam proud of it!" which gave us a little chuckle.

We went to the MGM GRAND of Las Vegas, and enjoyed the stay. Our first activity was to look around and see the scenery. We looked at several casinos and hotels like the Luxor. The next day, we went to the Star Trek: The Experience at the Las Vegas Hilton. Before we went, we saw a store that sold Sci-Fi merchandise, most which were from crummy movies. On the screen in the store they were showing V: The Final Battle, a rather neat movie. We bought tickets and went to a Trekker's dream come true! After the ride we went to Quark's Bar & Grill for dinner. I ordered a Bajoran Pizza or something like that with Data the android's favorite drink.

One of the most hillarious things we did was go get a photograph. I held a phaser in front of one of those adorable tribbles! The picture had me and dad getting beamed aboard the Enterprise. As we were waiting to get our photos done, I saw a "food replicator" and saw 3D animations of alien foods.

But nothing could prepare me for what happened next...
