'Three RUC officers were injured and three homes in the predominantly Protestant Twaddell Avenue of Belfast, had windows smashed in trouble, which loyalists claimed republicans instigated Sinn Fein /IRA Councillor Margaret McClelland said six carloads of men were involved in this afternoon`s trouble, which she claimed was orchestrated by outlawed loyalist terror group the Ulster Defence Association" Sinn Fein/IRA Councillor Margaret McClelland also said
``Time has long since past when unionists and loyalists can pretend that
north Belfast, and indeed the whole of the north of Ireland, is not
being held to ransom by this orchestrated anti-Catholic program being
carried out by the UDA.`` Her own despicable terrorist party, Sinn Fein/IRA, have committed atrocities, murder and mayhem over the past 30 years and have held,( and are still holding ), the United Kingdom people hostage with instigated and orchestrated violence. Her disparaging remarks are consistent with the propaganda plan set out by Sinn Fein/ IRA, to discredit the Royal Ulster Constabulary and to have the loyal police force disbanded! Increasingly, other members of the IRA are putting their insidious plan in motion by accusing the RUC of siding with the majority of law abiding citizens and using excessive force,( firing rubber bullets), to disperse the Sinn Fein/IRA instigated nationalist rioters. The same area saw fierce nationalist rioting which left more than 100 RUC officers injured on July 12 after a loyalist parade passed the area.
