JAMES BARKER (12)
The image of his bloodied face symbolised the horror of the bombing.His mother, Donna-Marie (42), and her husband Victor, had moved their four children to Ireland from England a year ago ''to give them a better quality of life''.
GERALDINE BRESLIN, (35)
The mother-of-one was killed as she fled from Watterson's clothes shop with fellow workers, only to be hit by the full force of the blast.Mrs Breslin was best friends with Ann McCombe, who also perished in the explosion.
   
Fernando Blasco (12)
The schoolboy from Madrid died with his teacher along with three other youngsters from Donegal who had joined them on the outing to the town's carnival.
GARETH CONWAY (18)
Just finished Omagh Technical College and was due to start an engineering course at Magee College next month. He was in Omagh on Saturday to buy a pair of contact lenses.
   
DORAH CARTWRIGHT (20), Omagh Oran Doherty (8)
From Buncrana, was with his friends Sean McLaughlin and James Barker when they caught the full force of the blast.

BREDA DEVINE (21 months)
 

Who clung to life after being born three months premature, was in Omagh to get new shoes to be a flower girl at her uncle's wedding next Saturday.Her mother Tracey, (27), is left fighting for her life with 60% burns to her body.

ADRIAN GALLAGHER, (21)
The college graduate was a car fanatic, who went shopping for new boots and jeans.  Adrian would normally have been busy at his car repair business on a Saturday, but went into town with a friend who was badly hurt.
   
Esther Gibson (36)
The Beragh woman, worked in a local clothing factory and had recently become engaged and was to marry next July, according to her own minister.    Miss Gibson was a Sunday School teacher.
MARY GRIMES, (65)
The mother-of-12, including Avril Monaghan. She was a former maternity nurse, and originally from Co Cork. She was on a shopping trip with her daughter and grand- daughter as a birthday treat.
   
OLIVE HAWKES, (60), Omagh JULIE HUGHES, (21)
THE student at Dundee University had a holiday job in the town's Image Xpress.    Like so many others, Julie was evacuated and ran into the full force of the blast.

BRENDA LOGUE, (17)
Brenda had been out on a shopping trip when the bomb exploded.    She had gone shopping with her mother Mary and grandmother. The two olderwoman escaped with cuts and bruises.
JOELENE MARLOWE,(17)
from Newtownsaville. Joelene and her 15-year-old sister Nicola had taken their great aunt, Bernie Shaw (75), on a shopping trip.
   
Anne McCombe (48)
Worked in the Draper's shop was a best friend of Geraldine Breslin,and was on a break with Geraldine when the bomb exploded beside them.The mother-of-two was known to have supported the peace process.
BRIAN McCRORY
The Omagh man was believed to be in his 40s.
 
SAMANTHA McFARLAND, (17)
A student at Strabane College, died along with her best friend. Both girls had been working their weekly shift as volunteers in a charity shop run by Oxfam when they were killed.
SEAN McLAUGHLIN (12)
The youngster from Buncrana was on a visit to Omagh's folk park with the group of Spanish students.He was an altar boy at the local church, St Michael's Oratory.

AVRIL MONAGHAN, (30
Was heavily pregnant with twins, which were due in October. Mrs Monaghan was a secretary and lived in the  village of Aughadarra, 15 miles from Omagh. She is survived by her husband Michael and  three other children
ALAN RADFORD (16)
Was helping his mother with the weekly shopping. Paul Radford said his brother was one of  the last to be identified after he searched for him for hours.
   
ROCIO ABAD RAMON (24)
The teacher from Madrid was helping supervise a group of Spanish schoolchildren on a day out as part of their language course.    She was making her fifth summer trip to Ireland. It was the first time she had led the exchange group.
LIBBY RUSH (57)
Killed while working in her pine workshop and cafe in Market Street.
   
VEDA SHORT(46)
A grandmother and also worked in Watterson's family outfitters.
LORRAINE WILSON, (15).
Worked in the local Oxfam charity shop as a volunteer.
PHILOMENA SKELTON (39)
The mother-of-four, from Drumquin, was on a twice- yearly shopping trip to Omagh when she was caught in the blast, as her daughers tried on school uniforms.

 
 
 

MAURA MONAGHAN    (18 Months) 

The daughter  of Avril Monaghan and grand-daughter of Mary Grimes, was the youngest victim of the blast.

Was shopping with his Dad , having just returned from holidays!!
Screams, cries, then the terrible silence...................................
