This is a picture taken on our way to the Blue Mountain Ski Slopes. This is a typical Icelandic road in the winter time. No snow plows in this country! Yes we really are on a road. You are lucky if you can find snow stakes which mark the edge of the road during the worst of the winter season. This is adventure driving at its best. Don't travel alone!
