The Blue Lagoon

This is another picture of the Blue Lagoon. It is a man made lagoon which is created from the run off of hot geothermal water produced by the electric power plant in the backround. Geothermal energy is one of Icelands riches resources.

In every Icelandic town they have public outdoor Hot Pots for swiming or relaxing. Nothing beats taking a dip in the nice hot water, even when it is snowing outside!
