"Stargazer dinner!"called her dad Mistofelees. The black and white kitten sighed."Comeing!" Stargazer was just aolder and that this Jellicle ball she would become a teenager. Just like the other kittens. Stargazer consintrated really hard and she appeared in the kitchen next to her mom.
'Nice trick hon."said Victoria licking Stargazer's fur. "Mom Im clean."said Stargazer getting away from her mom. Victoria smiled. They all ate dinner and went to bed waiting for tommarow to come.
Stargazer was the first to get up. She went downstairs ate breakfast and went and headed to the junkyard. "Hey give me my sock!"yelled Dots. Stargazer heard that as she entered the junkyard.
"No!"exclaimed Key. "Now havent we heard this before?'asked Lily. "Yep we sure have."replyed Sun. Stargazer got into a pouncing position. She waited for the right moment and pounced on Key. They tumbled around and Stargazer got the sock. She trouted over to Dots and gave her, her sock back. "Thanks."said Dots and began to chew on her sock. Just then Dash snuck up behind Stargazer and started to pounce on her. Stargazer felt Dash's presents and moved before he could pounce on her. "Dont try that again."said Stargazer as she saw Dash fall flat on his face. The other kittens giggled. Just then the parents began to show up. Alongside Munkustrap was Jr. and Demeter was Cherry. The kittens stoped what they were doing and looked at the four. Stargazer hoped down from the tire. She watched as the 2 toms and 2 queens go up onto the tire.
"Hello Mr. Munkustrap, Mrs. Demeter, Cherry, and Jr."said Stargazer. "Hello Stargazer."said the four. "Go on you two go play with your friends."said Demeter. The two kittens hoped off the tire and walked to their friends. "Hey Mistofelees! Hey Viki!"called out Demeter. "Hey! How you doing?"asked Mistofelees. The black and white cat and the plain white cat hoped up onto the tire next to the two. "How is your two kittens soon to be teenagers?"asked Victoria scratching her arm.
"They are doing fine. Munkustrap is teaching Jr how to be a leader."explained Demeter. "Thats great." "How is your kitten doing?"asked Munkustrap. "She is doing fine. She has gotten better at her magic."explained Mistofelees. "Thats good."said Munkustrap. Just then Sky and Flash entered with two kittens. One was grey and red and the other was grey and black. "Sky."called Victoria running over to her friend giving her a hug. "Hey Viki."said Sky. "Hello Flash."said Victoria. "Hi Victoria." "What are the kittens names?"asked Mistofelees coming up to them. "The red and grey one is Birdy and the grey and black one is Cloud."said Flash.
"Why dont you go play with the others."said the grey queen to her kittens. "Yes mommy."said the kittens and they went to play with the otehr kittens. "Hello who are you guys?"asked Birdy. "Im Jewel." "Im Dash." "Im Dots." "Im Tiger." "Im Star." "Im Flower." "Im Sun." "Im Lily." "Im Browny." "Im Key." "Im Cherry." "Im Jr." "Im Stargazer." "Hi guys Im Birdy." "And Im Cloud." "Nice to meet you guys."said Stargazer. She noticed that the two wasnt paying attention. Birdy was looking at Jr. and Cloud was looking at Dots. Stargazer got mad. Birdy haddnt been there fr more that two minutes and started to look at the one tom that she likes.
"Attention attention people!"shouted Munkustrap from the tire with Demeter right beside him"Let the Jellicle Ball begin!" All the Jellicles cheered and the music began. The kittens were almost teenagers. When the moon fell from the sky they would truly be teenagers.
"It no fair."said Key sitting down sulking. "What aint fair?"asked Stargazer. "Cloud is flirting with Dots."Key said depressly. Stargazer looked over and saw Cloud flirting with Dots. She saw Dots giggling at Cloud's jokes.
"So?" "Well I....like her"said Key sighing. He layed down and sighed a deep sigh. Stargazer knew how he felt. She liked Jr. but Birdy was flirting with him. "So how long have you been training to be the leader?"asked Birdy trying to sound intrested. "3 months."replyed Jr. "3 months wow."poorly exclaimed Birdy. "Yeah."said Jr. "Hey wanna go spy on the grown-ups?"asked Birdy excidently. "I dont think so. Wewould get into trouble."said Jr. "How would you know?'asked Birdy. "Hey Stargazer come here!"shouted jr. Stargazer's ears purked up and walked over to the other kittens. "Would we get in trouble if we go spy on the grown-ups?"asked Jr. "What would she know she is just a kitten."said Birdy. "She is a magical cat."said Jr. "Oh great."said Birdy very poorly. Stargazer sat down and thought. "Yes you will. Someone will get punished and that would be Birdy."said Stargazer. "Thats pollicle trash. We wont get introuble come on."said Birdy and she walked over very quietly towars the gorwn-ups. The rest of the kittens but Jr. and Stargazer went with her. "She dont know what is gonna happen. They are talking bout the kittens and how we are gonna become teenagers. They are also are talking bout how good us kittens are."explained Stargazer. Jr. nodded his head. Birdy and the other kittens snuck up and hid. They listen to the grown ups.
"Our kittens are growing up so fast. Just the other day I remember how I was cleaning up after little Lil."explained Rumpleteazer. "Our kittens are just so big. After the Jellicle Moon drops and the sun rises our kittens will be teenagers."explained Jemima with a sigh. "Man they are just growing up so fast. So Mistofelees and I got Stargazer a new collar."explained Victoria holding up a blue collar with emeralds around it. "Oh that is soo pretty."exclaimed Etcetera. "I know. It took up a lot of magic from Mistofelees to make it. He wouldnt have done it if I didnt put my paws on him and he drew love energy from me."explained Victoria with a smile. "Wow that is pretty."whispered Jewel. "Yeah."said Birdy. *I would love to steal that.*thought Birdy with a grin on her face.
"The kittens are just so good. They seem to get along together just fine."said a pleasent Demeter. "They are just so mature."agreed Munkustrap. The kittens were lisening and Cloud backed up and sliped and fell into the other kittens. They all tumbled and landed infront of the parents with a loud thud.
"Kittens!"cried the grown-ups. "Um hi."said the kittens in a hushed voice. "You kittens shouldnt have been spying on us."scolded Bombalurina. "Sowwy mommy."said her two kittens. "Where are Jr and Stargazer?"asked Alonzo. "They didnt want to come. Stargazer told us we would get in trouble and said you guys were talking 'bout us. We didnt listen to her becasue Birdy convinced us."explained Tiger. "Birdy! You bad kitten."scolded her mom. "Sowwy mommy."sulked Birdy. "Stargazer! Jr! Come here!"hollered Mistofelees. The two kittens came bounding up.
"Did you tell them that they would get introuble if they came up and spy on us Stargazer?"asked Tumblebrunts. "Yes."said Stargazer. "Good Stargazer. Jr you made a right choice to stay behind."complemented Mistofelees. The other kittens hung their heads. "Thanks."said Jr and Stargazer in unison. "Oh and Stargazer this is for you."said Victoria handing her the blue collar with emeralds all around it. "Oh my gosh! Thanks mom! Thanks dad!"exclaimed a very happy Stargazer. Stargazer took the collar. She took off her purple collar and put on her new collar. It looked stunning on her. "That looks nice on you Stargazer."complemented Jr. "Thanks."replyed Stargazer. "Now you kittens go and play."said Pouncival. The kittens nodded and went to play. The grown-ups went back to talking. "We should have never listen to you Birdy."said Browny. Birdy hisses at Browny. Browny looked weirdly at Birdy. The kittens stoped on the other side of the junkyard. The parents were talking on the other side. The kittens yawned and stretched. "Yeah really."replyed Key. Birdy got very mad. She scratched her paws on the ground and pounced on Key. Stargazer noticed and pounced on Birdy. The two girls tumbled around. Birdy got up fast and clawed Stargazer. Stargazer hissed and clawed Birdy. They kept fighting and fighting. Just then Munkustrap saw the two kittens fighting and ran over to them.
"Knock it off!"commanded Munkustrap holding the kittens back. "She started it! She pounced on Key! I pounced on her so she would get off of him!"exclaimed Stargazer. ""Birdy you have been nothing but trouble sicne you got here. So straighten up your act young lady."comanded Munkustrap and let the two girls go and went back to the otehr grown ups. Stargazer put her paw where she got scratched and it disipeared. 'Wow cool trick."said Dash. Stargazer nodded. "Hey pretty kitten."cooed Cloud walking up to Dots. "Hi."said Dots shyly. "Hey Jr how you like my fighting?"asked Birdy getting close to him. Jr backed up.
"I really dont like to see my friends fight."said Jr sitting down. Birdy rubbed her head up against Jr. Stargazer got fed up and so did Key. They both walked and sat down at the same spot and looked at the other kittens. "Im so fed up with that girl."said Stargazer pounding her paw on the ground.
"Im fed up with that boy."said Key doing the same thing. "Why are you fed up?"asked the two at the same time. "I...well like Dots."said Key looking at the ground. "I...well like Jr."said Stargazer taking off her collar and looked at the ground. "You like Jr/Dots."exclaimed the two in unison. "Yes."they said in unison again. Just then a paw came out and took Stargazer's collar,and snuck away. Stargazer looked over at Jr and noticed he was by himself. "Hmm thats weird Birdy was just there and she isnt there now."said Stargazer. She went to get her collar and it wasnt there. "Mom!!!"yelled Stargazer. Victoria and Mistofelees came running over to Stargazer.
"Whats amatter??" "Someone took my collar."exclaimed Stargazer. Just then the other kittens walked up. "Where is your collar Stargazer?"asked Birdy. "Someone took it."said Stargazer gving Birdy a look. "I didnt take it."said Birdy sitting down. Just then Stargazer consintratied and her collar came out from Birdy's fur. "Birdy took the collar!"exclaimed Browny. Stargazer's collar went aroudn her neck. "Grrr."growled Birdy. "Bridy why are you doing this?"asked Stargazer. "Becasue you liek Jr! I even heard you! I like him!"exclaimed Birdy. Stargazer backed up. She had an empty look on her face. "Thats right. You like him"said Birdy. Stargazer ran off. She ran out of the junkyard.
"That....that jerk."exclaimed Stargazer sitting down. "Who does she think she is saying I like Jr. out in the open like that."said Stargazer with a sigh. "Stargazer! Stargazer!"hollered Jr running up to her out of breath. "What do you want?'asked Stargazer. 'Why did you run off like that?"asked Jr trying to catch his breath. "Becasue of what she said. She had no right to say that."said Stargazer with a sigh. "Well I thought it was sweet."said Jr sitting down next to her. "Yo...You do?'asked Stargazer. "Yep. I like you in the same way."said Jr with a smile. Stargazer blushed a little.
"Birdy is just a pushy kitten."said Jr looking at the Jellicle moon. 'Yeah."said Stargazer looking at the moon too. "Come on lets go back to the junkyard."suggested Jr. Stargazer looked at him a nodded. After the Jellicle ball Stargazer and her parents ran home. She went right to sleep when she got home. She had found out Jr liked her and that he really liked her. "Do you take Stargazer to be your Jellicle queen?"asked Old D. "I do."said Jr. "Do you take Jr you be your tom?"asked Old D. "I do."said Staragzer. "You may lick each other."said Old D. Jr put the blue collar with sapphiers on it around her neck and licked her. She moaned and then woke up. That was all a dream. It was a great dream. She looked at the sky and saw that is was still night and then went back to bed.
