"Yep our kittens are beautiful Avery."said the yellow-orange white tom.

"What should their names be?"asked Avery.

"Um the white one could be Victoria."pointed out the tom.

"Yeah I think that will work Dusty."complemented Avery.

"The yellow-orange white one could be Sunshine."

"That is a beautiful name."The two kittens sniffed each other and tumbled around.

"They are just so cute."cooed Avery.

"Yeah."said Dust rubbing his head against Avery's. The mistress came in. One she saw the kittens she had a joyful face.

"Ohh how cute!"she exclaimed picking up the kittens.

"Meow."meowed the kittens. The mistrest smiled. She put them down and walked away. The next few weeks were fun. The kittens played around.

"Dusty I just over heard something."explained Avery.

"What?"asked Dusty.

"They have to give you and Sunshine away."explained a sad Avery.

"Why?"asked Dusty sitting down.

"She cant keep all four of us. She decided to give you two away since she I guess dont like you as much."explained Avery.

"I will miss you."said Dusty with some hurt in his voice.

"So will I."said Avery.

"I cant bear to tell the kittens."said Dusty.

"Well when it comes it comes."said Avery looking at the ground.The dorr bell rang. The mistress got it and it was her friend to pick up the two cats. The mistress got Dusty and Sunshine and gave them to her friend. The friend was moving to Missouri and so they didnt see them again. Victoria was so heart broken she didnt eat for a day. Victoria didnt even want her mom near her.

"I want my sisy." Soon Victoria forgot about Sunshine and her dad.

The Day Before The Jellicle Ball.."Ok now go on honey."said Avery pushing Victoria out the door with a little push on the rump.

"But I dont know If I wanna go to the Jellicle ball."complained Victoria.

"Well you gotta."said Avery.Victoria hurried to the junkyard. When she entered there were new kittens.

"Oh my."whispered Victoria.

"Hey!"yelled a calico cat. She was just about the age of Victoria.

"Hello may I ask your name?"asked Victoria.

"My name is Etcetera."

"My name is Victoria."

"Nice to meet you Victoria. Come with me and I will introduce you to the others."exclaimed Etcetera pulling Victoria with her to the other cats.

At another part of town."Ok darling lets get you to the Jellicle Ball."said a tom.

"Do I gotta daddy?"asked his daughter.

"Yes Sunshine you have to go."

"Yes daddy."said Sunshine running out to the door to the junk yard.When she got to the junkyard someone was standing there.

"Who are you?"asked Coricopat.

"Im Sunshine."she said.

"Are you a true Jellicle?"asked Coricopat.

"Yes."hissed Sunshine.

"Prove it."

"Jellicle Cats are black and white, Jellicle cats are rather small. Jellicle cats are merry and bright and pleasent to hear when we caterwall." sang Sunshine.

"Yep you are a Jellicle come on in."said a pleasent Coricopat.Sunshine walked in. There were cats everywhere. Just the Electra ran up to Sunshine.

"Hello who are you?"she asked.

"My name is Sunshine."

"Nice to meet you. Im Electra.Come with me I will show you around."said the hyper kitten.

"Ok."said Sunshine following Electra.

"Hey guys look at the new kitten. Her name is Sunshine."explained Electra.

"Nice to meet you."

"Im Etcetera."

"Im Cassandra."

"Im Jemima."

"Im Electra of course."

"Im Tantomaile."

"Im Victoria."

"Nice to meet you all."said Sunshine very pleasely."Now the others are Munkustrap, Coricopat, Tumblebrunts, Pouncival, Bombalurina, Rum Tum Tugger, Demeter, Rumpleteazer, Mungojerrie, and Mistofelees."pointed out Electra.

"Wow so many Jellicles. I just moved here from Missouri. My dad had to teach me to fright becasue of the cats in St.Louis. They were really mean. Then we moved to Warrenton and the cats there were so friendly. Then we moved back here." explained Sunshine.

"Oh so cool."complemented Jemima. Sunshine nodded.

"Well wanna play hide 'n' go seek?'asked Etcetera.

"Yeah!"shouted the other girl cats there.

"I heard hide 'n' go seek."said Mistofelees walking over with Rumpleteazer, Pouncival, and Tumblebrunts. Pouncival and Tumblebrunts saw Sunshine and ran over to her. They circled her. They started t sniff her. By the time they started to sniff her Sunshine was fed up and hit both of the kittens on the head.

"Ow."they moaned.

"Serves you right."said Sunshine.

"Who are you anyway may I ask"asked Rumpleteazer.

"My name is Sunshine."

"Nice to meet ya. Hope ye like it here."said Rumpleteazer heading off to find Mungojerrie.

"Huh. Well nice to meet you Sunshine Im Mistofelees and there are.."started Mistofelees but Sunshine interupted.

"Pouncival and Tumblebrunts."

"How you know?"

"Electra already told me who who was."

"Oh."

"Lets play!!"demended an impasunt Etcetera.

"Ok ok. I will be first."said Sunshine hidding her eyes. All the kittens scatered.

"9 10. Ready or not here I come!!"hollered Sunshine. She turned around but didnt find no one. It was all quite excepts for the otehr cat. She looked around the junkyard. She had no clue where to look because she had never been here. She sighed and began to look around. She thought she saw Electra and pounced on it. It was Jennyanydots. Sunshine appoligized and went to look for the others.She looked in the pipe but no one there. She sighed again. She then heard giggles. She folllowed the giggles. She got into a pouncing position and pounced on the kitten behind the trash. She had pounced on Mistofelees.

"Hello,"she began,"now you it."

"Drat. Stupid mouse tickling me."said an unhappy Mistofelees. Sunshine giggled.The kittens spent all that day playing games. They just had so much fun. The grown ups said if they wanted to sleep out in the junkyard they had to go ask their parents and come back with an answer. So the kittens ran home ot ask their parents. Victoria ran in through the kitty door and ran up to her mom. She stoped and was out of breath.

"What is it dear?"asked her mom.

"Can I spend the nigth at the junkyard?"asked Victoria between deep breaths.

"Sure."said Avery getting a drink of her milk she had.

"Thanks mom!"cried Victoria nad ran back to the junkyard.Sunshine raced home. She ran though the cat door but then hit her head against the wall that was a couple of feet from the door. She shook it off.

"You silly girl."said her dad walking up to her.

"Daddy daddy daddy can I stay at the junkyard tonight?? I made so many new friends!Please!!" begged Sunshine.

"Sure why not."he said.

"Thanks!"cried Sunshine getting pushed out of the door with a pat on the rump from her dad. Once the last kittens arived the grown-ups left but Coricopat and Tantomile were standing guard outside.

"This is gonna be fun."said an excided Jemima.

"Yeah."agreed Sunshine.

"Wanna tell ghost stories??"asked Electra.

"Ok."said Victoria. They all went to the trunk of the old car and opened it. They all sat inside it.

"Ok I will go first."said Electra." It was a stormy night. It was the night of the Jellicle Ball. They all had reach shelter. They heard moans through the wind. The old leader was brave enough to go see what it was. Just then they heard a cry. They all raced out to see what happened to the old leader. They didnt find him. They said the ghost Jumble Jacks came back to hunt the junkyard every Jellicle Ball night." The kittens looked at eachother bored as heck. Mistofelees and Victoria gave each other glances and crept out of the trunk. After that the kittens heard a loud noise.

"Ah!"cried Victoria trying not to giggle.

"Oh my gosh."said Jemima.

"Get away! Get away Jumble Jacks!"cried Victoria.

"I will get you!"cried Mistofelees in a deep voice trying to be Jumble Jacks. The kittens shook. They all grabed onto eachother.

"D....Do you think it is the real Jumble Jacks?"asked Etcetera.

"I made it up......I belive."said Electra. Sunshine unhached from the group and jumped down. The other kittens looked at her with a puzzled face. Sunshine went around to find Victoria. As she crept a cat jumped on her.

"Ah!"she screamed. The kittens heard her yell and they huddled closer. Sunshine got up and scratched her attacker. The kitten yelped.

"Mistofelees."whispered Sunshine.

"Shh. Me and Vicki are playing a joke on them."whispered Mistofelees with a giggle. Sunshine smiled.

"I will help."said Sunshine.

"AH Get away Jumble Jacks! You aint gonna EAT me like you did with Victoria!"acted out Sunshine. Mistofelees couldnt belive what a good actor Sunshine was.

"He got Victoria AND almost got Sunshine."said Electra.

"Im going out there."said Pouncival.

"Your crazy!"exclaimed Jemima. Pouncival didnt listen. He crept out to find them. When he turned the corner he saw Mistofelees, Victoria, and Sunshine giggleing.

"Hey you guys that wasnt funny!"exclaimed Pouncival.

"Funs over."said Victoria between giggles.

"Guys come on out they are fine."called Pouncival. The otehr kittens came out and saw Mistofelees, Victoria, and Sunshine all fine.

"You little no good kittens."said Electra.

"Thats wasnt funny."said Tumblebrunts.

"Well we thought it was. That was a bad story you told." said Mistofelees sighing. All the kittens yawned.

'Lets get to bed."yawned Tumblebrunts and they hoped back up into the trunk and slepted close together because it was cold. The sun rose from trees. The sun glisened in the sky. The birds we chirping their beautiful song. The gornw-ups just started to come to the junkyard for the Jellicle Ball. As the cats entered they saw the kittens all curled up next to each other. The cats smiled. Demeter went over to the kittens and shook them. They all opened their eyes and squinted because of the sun. The kittens looked at each other and remebered last night.

'So you kittens had a good time last night?"asked Jellylorum.

"Yeah!"cried the kittens.

"Thats good." Just then a yellow-orange and white cat entered the junkyard.

"Daddy!"cried Sunshine running up to him.

"Hey sweety."he said rubbing her head.

"Come meet my friends!"she said pulling him over to her friends.

"This is Electra, Etcetera, Jemima, Tumblebrunts, Pouncival, Mistofelees,and Victoria."she pointed out. Dusty looked at Victoria with loving eyes.

"Victoria."he said.

"Yes."she asked. Just then a white cat came in.

"Mommy!"yelled Victoria running up to her hugging her.

"Hellow my darling."said Avery.

"Come meet my new friends!"she said dragging Avery over to the group.

"This is Electra, Etcetera, Jemima, Tumblebrunts, Pouncival, Mistofelees,and..."she began but her mom inerupted.

"Sunshine. Dusty."she said with love in her eyes.

"How you know???"asked Victoria.

"Hello Avery."said Dusty giving Avery a loving lick.

"How do you two know each other?"asked Sunshine."And how do you know my name?"

"Because you are my daughter. This is your dad Victoria."said Avery.

"That meens your my sister."said the two kittens in unison.

"Neat you two are sisters."said Mistofelees.

"Yeah."said the two kittens.

"Avery, Dusty glad to see you especialy you Dusty."said Jennyanydots.

"Its good to see you too Jenny."said Dusty.

"Hey lad welcome back! Good ta see you Dusty."said Skimbleshanks patting Dusty on the back.

"Thanks."Just then they heard a loud crash. The kittens got close together.

"Macavity!"shouted Demeter.

"Macavity?"asked the kittens looking at each other. Just then they heard a laugh. Just then Macavity hoped down.

"Momym who is he?"asked Victoria.

"The Hidden Paw."

"He dont look so tough."said Sunshine. Macavity looked at the young kitten.

"I dont look though huh? Then come show me how tough you are."said Macavity. Sunshine was about to go but her dad held her back. Just then Macavity's goons came and held back the parents and the older cats. The kittens ran to their mom or dad or a seniour. Sunshine stood her ground. Victoria turned around and ran to her sister. Mistofelees followed. Sunshine tryed to scratch Macavity but Macavity caught her paw. He took her and started to leave.

"No!"yelled Mistofelees and Victoria. Mistofelees ran up to Macavity to get Sunshine back but got captured too. After that Macavity dissapeared. Then the goons dissapeared.

"No my baby!"cried Avery. She broke down crying.

"No my sister. Mistofelees."said Victoria. She also broke down crying. It was a sad day in the junkyard.Macavity threw the kittens into a cell and walked away. Sunshine sulked into a corner and began to cry. Mistofelees looked at her and had sorrow in his eyes. She had a mom, a dad, and a sister. He didnt have any. He walked over to her and gave her a lick and layed down next to her. Sunshine looked at him and he was asleep in a jellicle minute. Sunshine looked at the Jellicle moon and fell asleep crying.

A couple of months later Victoria was in the junkyard on the tire. She missed Mistofelees and her sister. She had been sulking since the Jellicle Ball. The otehr cats and kittens have tryed to confert her but they failed. Just then they heard a loud crash and laughs. 2 males and 1 female.

"Macavity!"yelled Demeter. Victoria didnt even move. She didnt care. If she gets captured then she can be with her two friends. Just then Macavity showed up. HE had a black cats with a white chest, face, around his paws, and the tip of his tail, and he had a yellow-orange and white cat with him.

"Mistofelees Sunshine!"called Victoria.

"Who are you?"asked Sunshine.

"Im your sister Victoria."

"I have no sister."replyed Sunshine with evilness in her voice.

"Mistofelees you remember me dont you?"asked Victoria.

"No why the heck should I?"Mistofelees had an evil tone to his voice.

"Take her out you two. This should be fun to watch"said Macavity with an evil laugh. His goons came and held back the other cats and kittens. The two hoped down and walked towards Victoria. She knew she didnt have a chance. She just sat there with sorrow in her eyes. Sunshine scratched Victoria. Victoria didnt move. Sunshine didnt understand. She kept scratching her but she didnt do anything. Sunshine was shocked.

"Arent you gonna fight back?"she asked.

"Why should I fight my sister."said Victoria. Just then Sunshine remebered something.

"Get that work done now!"demended Macavity.

"Its two heavy."she complained. Macavity scratched her.

"Never back talk me!"

"You scared me half to death honey."said Dusty hugging Sunshine.

"Im sowwy daddy."

"Your my sister."said Sunshine and Victoria in unison.Just then Sunshine broke out of her trance. She cant belive she would try to hurt her own sister. Mistofelees was getting anxious. He scratched Victoria across the face.

"Mistofelees dont do that!"demended Sunshine."She is your friend."Mistofelees started to remember stuff. He remembered the labor he went though for Macavity. All the good times he had had with his friends. When Victoria, Sunshine, and him scared the other kittens. He broke out of his trance. He gathered lighting into his paws. She turned to Macavity and shot it at him. Macavity douged but it hited him in the leg.

"Traitor!"yelled Macavity. Sunshine shuck up behind Macavity and kicked him and then pounched him in the face and he fell to the ground. Victoria hoped down from the tire and landed on Macavity's stomach and then hoped off.

"Get out of here!"demended Victoria.

"Run kitty."said Sunshine getting into a postion where she would take a chase. Macavity knew that Sunshine was a good fighter and was pretty fast for a girl. He backed up and ran away.

"Im so glad you two are back."said Victoria huging the two. They returned the hug.

"Honey!"cried Avery. She and Dusty ran over to and huged Sunshine.

"Hi mom. Hi dad."They welcomed back the two kittens and they all went home.
