You follow a path down to another area where there are K'd nesting; you come across a pair of K'd, lounging in the sun. The male is white with red points, the female smaller, with a tan coat. She gives her mate a affectionate lick when he suddenly stops, ears perking, and then turns, seeing you; a glint in his eyes and then a loud snarl. The female is up, following him, fur bristling and ears flattened. The snarl from him startles you so much that you fall back and dart down into some trees. You stand there, shaken, hoping that the angry k'd hadn't followed you, when you hear howling. Following it you find another pair of K'd, lying side-by-side on a stone and singing to the sky. The female has feathers beaded into her fur, and the male is a lovely gold-colour. But afraid that they might attack you as well, you quickly run down the next path.
