Episode 7: Sibling Rivalry Lemnear gives a yawn of boredom as she half listens to the middle aged woman giving a lecture at the front of the classroom. Algebra wasn't her strongest subject, and she had the problem of trying to stay awake constantly. She gazes around the room with her head propped up by her hand. She needs more decorations in here. It looks like a prison cell, she thought to herself. She shivers lightly as she feels a draft blow by. Oh brr...it's cold like one too. But there's no windows in here..... Her head jerks up sharply as she feels a kicking behind her. "Hey! Don't kick my seat! It's annoying!" she covers her mouth quickly as she realizes she had spoken aloud. She looks away from the startled kid behind her to the teacher, who is now staring right at her. "Miss. Lemnear, perhaps you would like to keep your outbursts to yourself. Unless of course you would like to make a trip to the office." Lemnear sinks in her seat as she shakes her head. "No ma'am. It won't happen again." The teacher then looks back at the chalk board and again begins teaching the day's lesson. Soon after the teacher turns her back to them, Lemnear could hear a faint snickering behind her. That kid's snickering at me! Her face turns red in anger as she again feels the disturbing kicking at her chair. Great, this kid is annoying the heck out of me and there's nothing I can do! She turns even more frustrated as the kid starts beating her chair with both feet, causing a dull thump to be heard, but not loud enough for the teacher to notice. Finally Lemnear's anger grows to its peak, and she once again faces the snickering kid. "Stop it, you brat!" she turns around and bangs her head on the desk repeatadly at her mistake. A few kids sitting near her watch her with interest. "Lemnear! Go to the office! Now!" angrily rings out her teacher pointing towards the door. "Yes ma'am..." Lemnear hangs her head as she steps out the door. "Great. Mrs. Hashika is going to be angry at me for getting detention again. This is the second time this week." She looks up momentarily as she sees a figure hurry down the hall, coming towards her. Who is that? As the person nears closer, she makes out the man's silver hair. Hey I remember him! He took that package to my teacher once! She keeps her vision straight forward so as not to stare, and soon he passes by. After a few more steps, she turns her head, but quickly snaps it forward again to find him looking straight at her. Just keep going. Don't stop. As she steps into the office doors, she takes a quick glance back, to find him gone again. Weird. I thought he didn't go to school here. Ah well, maybe he has a job here or something... ************************************************************************ Meika peers into the small hole in the middle of the door, shortly after ringing the door bell. "Hello? Lemnear?" She gives a smile as Lemnear soon opens the door. "Hi Meika!" exclaims Lemnear as she sees her friend. "Come on in!" she gestures towards the living room, then joins Mieka on the floor next to the coffee table. "Did I come at a bad time, Lemnear? You weren't busy doing homework or anything were you?" Lemnear just smiles and shakes her head. "Naw. I just got through with a lecture from Mrs. Hashika about being more responsible. I got detention again." Lemnear reaches over while talking and picks up the TV remote, and flips it on. "Oh ouch. That's twice this week isn't it? Good thing we didn't have a meeting today then." Lemnear gives a quick smile while switching the channels on the television. "Yeah really. I wouldn't want to be late for yet another meeting. I don't want EVERYONE thinking I'm not responsible." Meika laughs a bit. "Don't worry Lemnear, we won't. I think you're very brave." Lemnear glances over at Meika. "I'm only brave because I'm not alone. We work as a team." Meika nods in agreement. "You bet." Suddenly Lemnear stops at one channel as she hears a piece of disturbing news. They watch on as the news reporter gives her report. "Earlier today another attack occurred, this time to a small child in a park. The child was found laying beside the swings, unconscious. Doctors report that she was taken to a nearby hospital, and it has turned out that the child has suffered an extreme energy loss. This has been the fourth occurrence of this type of incident in the past 3 days. Police urge all residents who live near the areas where the attacks occurred to stay alert and to not be alone during late hours. We'll bring you more later--" Lemnear sighs as she clicks off the TV then glances over at Meika. "Do you think it could be them?" Meika just shakes her head confusingly. "It could be, but the report said the victims were drained of energy. They've never been after that before. Why now?" Lemnear stares in wonder at the TV. "We should talk to the others." Meika nods in agreement. "Right." Lemnear gives a glance over towards her bookbag, where the tip of the Sapphire Orb is protruding slightly. The soft glow of the shining blue ball at the top illuminates part of her bag. She had been sure to always keep it with her, so the Dark Kingdom wouldn't be able to get near it without taking her on first. "Do you think this could be some plan to get nearer to the Orb?" asks Lemnear. "I don't know. We should be extra careful from now on till this passes." replies Meika as she stands up on her feet. "I had better get going. I still have leftover Algebra homework." Lemnear gives a quick wave to Meika. "Okay. I should get started on my homework too...." Meika gives a smile as she walks out the door. That'd be a first time for Lemnear, she thought to herself silently. "Bye Lemnear! I'll see you tomorrow at school!" Lemnear stands in the doorway as she waves again to Meika. "Sure! Bye!" she gives a quick glance around as she quickly then closes the door. ************************************************************************ A man sits alone in a dark room, with only the screen of a computer giving off light. The mood of the room seems somewhat like a dungeon, gloomy and forbidding. Though the man seems unaware of his surroundings. He types away furiously as the clicking of the keys sounds non stop. "How could have she gotten the power back so fast? From what I remember, it had taken her weeks to even do one attack in the past." He brushes back a few stray silver hairs from his face as he continues the typing. The amount of concentration showing immensely. "There has to be an answer somewhere out there, just where to find it is the problem. I have to find a way to regain those important memories. They could be the clue to the Dark Kingdom's finish." ************************************************************************ A servant nearby shrinks back slightly as a glass shatters against the wall only a few feet from his head. He nervously bends down and begins picking up the tiny pieces of glass carefully, placing them on a small platter nearby. "Those brats! How could they have done this again?! Kosai was one of our best warriors!" The servant bows in forgiveness several times before taking off hurriedly. A young woman sits upon a large throne, near the back of the room of which is only illuminated by flaring torches lining the wall. Though her features appear dim in the poorly lighted room, her outfit could be seen almost clearly. A short skirt could be seen, black as the sky. The top was white, with a bow on the front which was a deep red. The high ends of her gloves appeared red also, matched along with a red choker, with a black star imprinted in the middle of it. A black star glowed upon her forehead, and her silver hair was pulled back by a black ribbon. A scowl crosses her pale face as she watches the past battle through a dark sphere floating in front of her. "Ugh. They make me sick. They will pay though. The time is coming near." She gives a slight smile as she recalls a moment which she prized dearly in the past. "Soon it will be time. Just you wait young one. I will no longer have to be imprisoned deep in this hole." She watches intensely as the end of the battle goes by in the sphere, and the Orb is revealed. "Well, well. It's about time. Looks like we get to go shopping." She keeps her eyes upon the sphere as she gives a snap of her fingers. Soon after another woman steps forward out of the darkness. "Kilea, one of our finest warriors." The woman gives a bright, evil smile. Her looks were great in contrast to the other girl's. Her jet black hair was cropped short just above her shoulders, and she wore a short deep blue dress, along with a pair of boots the rose above her knees, and were also a deep blue. "Master, our energy is growing rapidly for the release of our greatest attack on the Earth." The woman upon the throne smiles. "Great. Go along now. Don't waste time." the warrior bows then turns around towords an open portal. As she nears closer, her short black hair begins to extend in length, and turns a shining shade of silver.... ************************************************************************ Lemnear gives a yelp of excitement as she climbs onto the large school bus. "Field trip! Finally!" Nobiyuki smiles as he climbs on next, then soon is followed by Mikey and Meika. "Hey guys let's all sit here near the back!" cries out Lemnear as she plops down in the seat. Soon they're all seated in their seats, Lemnear and Nobiyuki on one side, and Mikey and Meika right across from them. Meika peered out the window excitedly. "This is great! I've always wanted to go visit a real Shinto Temple! I've heard the fields and forests around it are absolutely beautiful too!" Lemnear also peers out the window as the bus starts driving off, pressing her hands tightly against the glass. "I can't wait to get there!" Meanwhile Mikey and Nobiyuki are shaking their heads. "Girls," Mikey states sarcastically, pointing to Lemnear and Meika. He grunts as he feels an elbow pressed into his side. "Oh come on you have to be at least a little excited that we get to miss school for the day." Mikey nods quickly as he rubs his now sore side. "Sure Meika, but it's just a temple. What's so exciting about that?" Meika opens her mouth to speak, but is interrupted by Lemnear's. "Temples are a part of the ancient history of Japan! They're so interesting! Not to mention the landscape! and while you're there, there's a place where you can make a secret wish!" Mikey rolls his eyes. "Oh goody! A wish!" he gives yet another yelp as Meika whacks him over the head with her sacked lunch. "Hey!" he cries out, rubbing a forming lump on the top of his head. "That hurt!" Meika just shakes her head. "Boys." ************************************************************************ The group of four steps hurriedly off the bus an hour later. Lemnear stretches her arms above her head. "Oh that bus is so cramped! This feels good!" After a moment or so of stretching their cramped muscles, the begin to head off towards the main site, the temple. Meika and Lemnear both run ahead of the two boys examining everything they see, and chattering constantly about it. Mikey points towards them again and then points towards his head, drawing the circle motion. Nobiyuki laughs at this remark. "They're not crazy, just weird." Mikey laughs a bit in return. "Yeah, and we're stuck with 'em for the day. How wonderful." Nobiyuki gives him a pat on the back as they draw nearer to the temple. "Oh it's only for the day. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings while you can. It's nice here." Mikey nods in response, spending a moment to take a good look at where they were. "Really, especially with all that's been going on." The group walks up the steps of the temple, following the rest of their classmates. They peer over the many heads of students to take a look at their given tour guide. "I hope we get a guy." says Meika, as she pushes ahead of a few students. "Yeah." replies Lemnear soon after. "Maybe he'll be cute." The guys following closely behind both roll their eyes. "Oh, I hope he'll be a cute one." replies Mikey in a girlish voice. Nobiyuki stifles a laugh at Mikey's imitation. Meika looks back at the two, then stares at Mikey. "Quit being so mean. You're supposed to be my brother." Mikey just nodded. "Today I'm not." he said under his breath, just loud enough for Nobiyuki to hear. They both giggle but stop quickly at Meika and Lemnear's glares. Mikey just looks back at them innocently. "What?" As they come to the temple, a state of awe overcomes them. The temple was large, and the roof of shingles shone a bright red. Statues seem to guard the entrance in a majestic manner. A sign stands near the entrance that reads a welcome. They look towards the front again as they hear a chatter of voices. "Our tour guide must be here." points out Lemnear, as she strains to see it's face. They all freeze as they hear a familiar voice nearby. "Hey that sounds like..." they all smile as they see their buddy come towards the group. "Hey Mog!" exclaims Meika as she waves to him. He gives a wave to them as he stands at the front of the group, and starts explaining the history of the temple. Lemnear scratches the top of her head thoughtfully. "Looks like he got fired from the pawn shop after all." Nobiyuki nods in agreement. "Yup, but this place looks better to work at anyway." They walk farther into the temple as the tour goes on, and after an hour they end up at the exit, leading out to the field and forests. "and over there," Mog says, pointing towards a smaller shrine to the west. "Is the wish shrine. You may go there if you'd like. Thanks for being a great group." they watch as he walks away back into the temple, letting them roam themselves around the rest of the grounds. "Let's go to the wish shrine!" exclaims Lemnear, already taking off towords the shrine. "I think I'm going to go explore near the woods for a bit." states Meika, as she too starts heading towords her destination. "Hey Nobi, you want to go check out the souvenir shop back there? Looks like they had some different stuff." Nobiyuki nods. "Yeah sure, but shouldn't we go after Lemnear? Who knows what she can get herself into even at a shrine." Mikey gives a shake of his head. "Nah. She'll be fine. Come on let's go!" Nobiyuki looks back towards where Lemnear had gone, then back towards the shop. "Alright, let's go check it out." decided on that, they both head towards the shop. ************************************************************************ Lemnear gazes in wonder at the smaller shrine, almost identical in looks to the main shrine. "It doesn't look much different, only smaller. Maybe the place where you make the wish is inside." with that she takes the few steps up to the open doorway and peers inside. "Hello?" getting no response, she saunters in a few more steps, and looks at her surroundings. "They need more lights in here, it's so dark. I can barely see anything at all." As she walks farther into the musty shrine, she notices a bell hanging from a rope a few feet away. "That must be it!" she exclaims as she runs to it. She sets her bookbag down on the floor so she can reach the bell. "Hmm...I just have to think of my wish now." she ponders in her thoughts for a few moments before reaching up for the rope. "here we go..." she closes her eyes as she gives the rope a shake, releasing her secret wish. "There! I should go get the others, this is neat!" as she turns her heel to exit the shrine, she finds herself staring at a perfect replica of herself. "What? I don't remember a mirror being right here." her face turns a bit paler as she hears her reflection speak. "Oh no, this isn't any mirror dear." Lemnear just shakes her head and takes a few steps backwards. "Who are you? How can you look just like me?" the girl just gives a faint smile. "I'm you. The new you, that is." Lemnear glares at the girl, while slightly pushing her bookbag under a nearby table with her foot to put it out of sight "That can't be. I'm here, you're there. There's no way you can be me." The girl gives a snicker of delight as she brings up her hand. "Oh, I can think of a way." Lemnear gasps as a bright light bursts from the girl's hand. She tries to block it away by holding her hands in front of her eyes. "What are you doing?!" the girl smiles innocently as she begins to walk away, towards the exit of the temple. "I'm going to go join the rest of my friends. They're probably waiting for me at the Souvenir Shop by now." As the bright light increases, a helpless Lemnear collapses to the ground, drained of energy. She watches in despair as her false twin disappears through the exit. ************************************************************************ "So how do you like working here now, Mog?" asks Mikey. "It's nice here. Better than that old shop. At least here I can get some fresh air. I get to see more people too," replies Mog. The group of four is now sitting on the front steps of the main shrine, talking about various things. "That's neat." replies Meika, as she examines her new charm, which she recently bought from the shop. "How does this thing work, anyway?" Mog looks over at her charm. "Just keep it with you. It's supposed to bring you good luck. Hey, where's Lemnear at? She came on the trip with you guys right?" Nobiyuki nods his head. "Yeah, she went over to that wish shrine. I'd think she'd be back by now though." Nobiyuki says, while looking over his own new charm. "Sorry I'm late guys, I had a little trouble finding the wish bell." They turn around to find Lemnear walking up the steps of the temple. "That shrine was neat. We'll have to come back again someday," she says, as she takes a seat on the steps near the others. "Sure, but I still don't get how all this is supposed to be so interesting," replies Mikey. Lemnear looks over at him. "Well maybe if you understood the history of it you'd understand." Mikey gives her an odd look. What happened to her sarcastic remarks? That's weird. As he looks closer, and realizes her usually bright blue eyes seemed dull and gray. "Are you alright, Lemnear? Do you feel okay?" he asks concerned. She gives him a blank stare. "I'm fine." Nobiyuki looks over at Mikey to see why he had asked such a question, then over at Lemnear. He too notices her dull expression. "If you want, we can ask if Mrs. Hashika can come pick you up if you're not feeling well." Lemnear just frowns and replies back sharply. "I said I'm fine!" she quickly looks away, then looks back at them again, this time with a more cheerful expression on her face. "Let's go look around the woods. I've heard that sometimes you can see some wildlife!" Meika looks over at Mikey and shrugs. "I'm up for it." Mog stands up on his feet. "Yeah sure why not. I'm off work now anyway." The group soon gets up and walks down the steps and towards the forest. The fake Lemnear drags on a few feet behind them. "This is going great....they don't suspect a thing...." ************************************************************************ The silver-haired girl slowly opens her eyes, and raises her hands to her head. "What a headache..." As she attempts to collect her thoughts on where she is, as she looks around the dark room. "The wish shrine...did I fall asleep?" her eyes open wide as she remembers what had happened earlier. "That girl! I have to stop her!" As she stands up on her feet she soon crashes back down to the floor instantly. "Ow...I can barely stand up...I feel so drained." she gives her head a shake as she attempts again to stand up. Using the nearby table as a support, she is soon standing on her feet. "I have to warn the others. She might already be there." She takes off toward the open exit, but as she nears it she begins to feel a sense of power. "What? How strange." Shaking away the feeling, she takes off again for the opening, but screams as she is soon thrown back, and slammed against the wall. "A force field! I'm a prisoner here!" she looks down as she sees the soft blue glow of the Sapphire Orb laying in her bag underneath the table. She looks from the orb, up to above the door where a device could be seen. "That must be the generator for the force field." As she rises to her feet again, she takes out her transformation wand. "I have to hurry! Wind Crystal Power, Make Up!" A sudden ball of wind and lightning surrounds her and envelopes her whole. As her silver hair flies upward, a pink light wraps around her body to form her sailor fuku. She reaches out her hands as a pair of pink and white gloves form around them, and soon after short white boots cover her feet. As the wind begins to die down, a tiara appears on her forehead with a silver star in the middle, along with a pink choker that soon forms around her neck with a similar silver star in the center. Where Lemnear had been before, stands Sailor Wind holding out her staff in a fighter pose. "Now to take care of that force field!" She raises her staff swiftly above her head, then turns around and thrusts it out towards the generator. "Wind Cyclone Enforce!" A mix of wind and lightning fires from the tip of her staff and strikes the generator hard, shattering it to pieces. "Great!" She watches as the force field flickers for a few moments, then vanishes. "I have to find the others." Before leaving, she reaches down and picks up the Sapphire Orb. "Can't forget about this." She smiles as she puts it away in her subspace pocket. "Now I'm ready!" With a new determination, she runs out the door and towards the shop. ************************************************************************ Meanwhile, the group of five wander into the woods along a narrow path. Mog leads the way, followed by Nobiyuki, Mikey, Meika, then by Lemnear who is dragging a few feet behind them. Mog all of a sudden stops in his steps, and looks back. "Hey Lemnear why are you such a snail today? Earlier you would've been bounding ahead of us by a mile." They look back at her, and carefully watch her slow steps cease to a halt. "I'm tired of walking." Meika stares at her with a puzzled expression. "Of walking? How's that? We haven't been here for very long." she gives a short shriek as she sees Lemnear's eyes flash a sudden red. "I just am!" Meika takes a step back, nearly running into Mikey. "Are you okay?!" Lemnear's fists clench together tightly. "I'm fine, but I can't say the same for you!" The group stares in sudden shock as a bright light envelops Lemnear. "What's happening?!" cries out an astonished Mikey, while trying to shield his eyes. They look up again as the light fades, showing another girl standing in Lemnear's place. "You all are fools. You fell right into my trap!" yells out the strange girl triumphantly. Mog steps forward, shaking his fist at her angerly. "Who are you! Where's Lemnear!" The girl flips her short black hair back as she gives a evil smile. "You may call me Kilea, a loyal servant of the Dark Kingdom. As for your precious leader, she's been taken care of already!" Meika justs shakes her head in disbelief. "I don't believe you! You're lying!" Kilea's eyes flash a bright red again in anger. "I don't apreciate being called a liar!" she bows her head down for a second, and as she raises it back up, her face seems to have collected a calm peace. "I will deal with you now you pests, well actualy, someone else will for that matter." Kilea opens her palm in front of her mouth, and as she gives a small blow, a million shards of golden dust flies magicaly from her hand. "My demons will take care of you. I will enjoy watching your defeat!" Each member of the group glances at the other, reaching down in their pockets for their wands. "Looks like another fight." announces Mog, giving a short sigh. "We have to find Lemnear." states Nobiyuki shortly after. The look up suddenly as a sudden shrieking becomes audible from up above. As they continue to look upwards, they see multiple shapes taking form. Above them one of the many shards of dust explodes in a bright, blinding glitter. As the shining fades, a sharp figure takes it place. As a group of the figures surround the four friends, their features become more visable. Their skin reflects a dark tone, and their eyes glow a dull red. Sharp, peircing claws emit from their long fingers, and their fangs shine a deadly white. Mieka gives a quiet gasp as one of the demons swipes at her with one of its claws. They look alarmingly at one another as they step back until their backs are touching one another. Giving a slight nod at each other, they pull their transformation wands from their pockets. "Earth Crystal Power, Make Up!" "Heart Crystal Power, Make Up!" "Water Crystal Power, Make Up!" "Fire Crystal Power, Make Up!" As a green light explodes from Mikey's wand, leaves begin to swirl around him as if caught in a sudden tornado. As the shimmering green light combines with that of the leaves, a green and white body suit forms over him, and ending in a small tiara over his forhead with a bright emerald in the center. The light and leaves fade into nonexistance, and his whip forms in his hands. "The soldier of peace and nature, here I am, Sailor Earth!" I glittering pink light bursts from Meika's wand as she holds it up. As she bows down her head and crosses her arms across her chest, a chain of hearts swirls from her feet up to above her head. After a short moment the hearts in the chain emit a soft pink light, forming her purple and pink fuku. As a tiara with a purple jewl forms on her forehead, a mirror becomes present in her hands. "The soldier of love and truth, here I am, Sailor Heart!" The ground beneath Nobiyuki turns to a sea of water as a blue light shines from his wand. As sprays of water fire up from beneath and around him, a blue and white body suit forms, along with the familiar tiara with a blue gem. As the water calms and fades from sight, a long scythe appears in his hands. "The soldier of life and purity, here I am, Sailor Water!" As a spark of red light flies from Mog's wand, a mixture of orange and red flames envelop him. As the fire dies down shortly after, he appears in a red and white body suit, and in his hands rests a sword. "The soldier of courage and spirit, here I am, Sailor Fire!" The transformation of the Elemental Senshi complete, they stand back to back in a small circle. "We are here to protect this Earth from evil like you! In the name of our respectful elements, we will punish you!" Suddenly they look upwards as they see a silver blur flip over one of the demons, and land a foot in front of the scouts. "and in the name of the element wind, I will pay you back!" The group smiles as they see their friend holding out her staff towards the demons, and an astonished Kilea standing several feet behind them. Kilea scowls as she sees Sailor Wind join her friends. "How did you escape?!" Sailor Wind just holds up her pointer finger and shakes it at her. "Never underestimate your oponent!" Kilea shakes her fists in fury at the remark. "We'll see who's underestimating who! Demons! Attack them!" Sailor Heart cries out as one of the demons again swipes at her. "Oh no you don't!" with a swift back kick to the demon, it shatters into golden dust as it had been before. "That wasn't so hard!" exlaimes Meika as she watches the dust fall to the ground. Suddenly, the dust begins to glow once again, and it reforms back to it's original form, the demon. Meika shakes her head in disbelief. "What?!" They look over at Mog as he speaks out. "We'll have to majorly toast these guys to make sure they stay dust!" The group gives a quick nod, as the ready their weapons. Sailor Earth raises up his whip then snaps it quickly towards a group of about five demons. "Earth Crisis Impale!" as the end of the whip cracks at them, a rush of boulders and dirt fly at them at incredible speed. They give a last terrifying shriek as the explode into dust from the hard impact. Sailor Fire then turns towards his own group of demons and brings up his sword. "Fire Inferno Flare!" as he slashes it at them, a hot spark of fire and electricity flies out at them. As the fire impacts with them, they give an anguished scream of defeat as they too explode into shards of glittering dust. Sailor Heart soon ducks another incoming kick from her opponent. "Geez, give me a break!" Giving up on the idea on physical fighting, she holds out her mirror. "Heart Soul Illumination!" She gives a quick laugh at the shocked expression on the demon's shadowless face as a burst of energy fires from her mirror, and completely disinigrates him back to dust. "There, much better!" Sailor Water spins his Star Scythe above his head as a mixture of water and ice begins to form at the tip. "Waterwhirl Destroy!" As he rushes his scythe forword, the massive mixture strikes a crowded group of demons nearby, obliterating them to harmless dust. Sailor Wind turns around quickly and delivers a swift hit with her staff against a demon that was advancing on her. She raises up her staff, then thrusts it out before her again. "Wind Cyclone Enforce!" A mass ball of electricity and wind flies from her staff and strikes the remaining demons, turning them back to dust. "There!" exclaims Sailor Wind happily, as she watches the rest fade away. Kilea stares at them with hatred. "I don't think so you pests! Round two!" Snarling she opens her hands and throws out an imense amount of glitter into the air. In a few minutes, the sailors were again surrounded by three times as many demons as before. Sailor Fire takes a step back, as do the others until again they are all standing in a circle. "What now?!" cries out Sailor Earth as he kicks away another demon. Sailor Wind closes her eyes for a few seconds, then reopens them again and stares at her friends. "Let's join our powers together. Kill them all off in one blow!" The others think of their situation for a second, then agree. "Well let's go then." replies Sailor Water as he turns inwards in the circle, as do the others. "We can do it, just focus." calls out Sailor Wind as each of them takes the hand of the other next to them. Each scout closes their eyes, and concentrates their power imensly. As the glow becomes brighter, each soldier calls out their power in turn. "Water Crystal Power!" "Earth Crystal Power!" "Fire Crystal Power!" "Heart Crystal Power!" "Wind Crystal Power!" The bright light emitting around them forms around the hands of each senshi. As they reopen their eyes, they yell out together, "Unite!" A exploding flash of power bursts from their held hands, destroying every demon within a mile radius. Their shrieks and screams become less audible as the power spreads, then finaly the forest turns silent all together. As the light dims, the sailors smile at each other from their effort. "We did it." claims Sailor Wind as she looks around for any demon left, and finding none. "We did it together." says Sailor Heart afterwards. Kilea watches in horror as the last of her demons fades in an explosion of glitter. "No! Impossible!" Sailor Wind looks over towards her again, as the rest of the senshi gather in a straight horizontal line. "As we said before, never underestimate your oponent!" Kilea's fists clench tightly in anger. "This won't be the last you've heard from me you pitiful scouts! Your defeat is soon to come!" with her final statement, her form disipates into nothingness. The senshi look at the spot where she had been, then at each other. "Well," starts in Meika, "another battle won, but it looks like there's more to come. Unfortunatly." The others nod in agreement. "but we won't let them win, ever." states Sailor Wind. The others join in together. "Never." Sailor Wind suddenly gives a bright smile and annoucnces cheerfully, "Let's go back to the shrine! I haven't gotten myself one of those charms yet!" Sailor Earth makes a face at her and shakes his head. "What for? They're hideous!" He gives a yelp as Sailor Heart elbows him in the ribs. "They are not!" she protests loudly. Sailor Wind gives a light laugh then turns on her heels towards the shrine. "Well come on already!" As she takes off towards the shrine, the gem in her tiara shines a soft light, and she is soon again in her regular clothes. Soon after the others follow her actions, and transform back. They all laugh as they head towards the shrine in a hurry. Silently Lemnear thinks in her head of the wish she had made earlier. "I don't need some bell to ring to make my wishes come true....I already have all I could ask for....my friends." ************************************************************************ Kilea stands before a mirror, a bewildered expression upon her face. "How could I have lost to them? They're just children!" "They may be young, but they've almost regained their full powers. You should've been more careful Kilea. I won't tolerate another failure." states a cold voice coming from a throne a few feet near a pale Kilea. "Yes my master. I won't dissapoint you again. But, I may add that I did gain a large amount of energy from Lemnear before she broke free of her imprisonment. It will be very helpful for when we need it." replies a smirking Kilea. She turns and faces away from the girl seated near her in the throne. "As for the Elemental Senshi, they can only last for so long." I'll get them for sure next time. I'll be totaly prepared......."
