First
I would like to define my terms.
-
guerrilla- used as
an adjective denoting intermittent, unpredictable and irregular warfare
by independent bands carrying out acts of sabotage
against elitist so-called "truths"
-
insurrection- an act
or instance of revolting against unjustified authority or an established
system of exploitation, propaganda and/or intellectual and spiritual slavery
-
warfare- used here
as in a war, without the
shedding of blood, against ignorance and those who seek to control the
prism through which people look at and interpret the world
-
sabotage- deliberate
alteration of property intended to attack and call attention to
the destructive manipulation and lies propagated
by governments, corporations, "think tanks", certain organized religious
institutions, media and/or individuals with the use of strong foundations
in logic, rationality and human solidarity, compassion and empathy
WHAT?!
As
you may have guessed by now, what I'm advocating is direct nonviolent civil
disobedience and resistance by means of graffiti. And not graffiti which
seeks merely to assassinate character but graffiti which is provoked by
the thoughts of those who refuse to give up their intrinsic right of private
self judgment and which, hopefully, provokes thought and action in others
who witness the graffiti.
WHY?!
My opinion is that the organized and institutionalized forces of government
and corporate media, in fact a close partnership, are very effective at
keeping people from knowing what's going on in the world and acting responsibly.
Much powerfully argued and reasoned dissident opinion is kept out of the
mainstream media and our political system (not that many of these dissidents
would be interested in becoming specialized members of the typically elitist
political class). Our elections are stage managed; politicians' answers
to important questions are determined by using public opinion polls against
us. The public relations and advertising industries are fundamentally committed
to thought control and lies by an insurmountable barrage of propaganda
and advertising disguised as "giving the consumer what they want." Who
the hell wants advertising pushed in their face all the time?! The Net
is the current locale for corporate invasion. Presidential political debates
are tightly managed for "appropriate" questioning and who has access to
being allowed to debate by the media and one ideological party pretending
it's two (the RepDem party). States restrict who is allowed on the voting
ballots. To me it's a system of exclusion and it certainly doesn't remotely
resemble a democracy. I think there is plenty of evidence for my point
of view and I will provide links to some of my sources. So I propose a
simple act of empowerment. They don't give access and I don't believe dissidents
should run around kissing the establishment's ass and courting access from
a system which wouldn't mind if they disappeared from the planet. So I
say take access. Put your thoughts out in the open where every one can see them.
WHERE?!
I
say put the graffiti on the buildings of the establishment which restricts
democracy. I would specifically say offices and headquarters of the mainstream
news media- Washington Post, New York Times, NBC, ABC, CBS, hell even PBS
plays its part even though it's the best we've got (not saying much). It
should be that much more difficult for people who claim to be telling the
truth by objective journalism to complain about and attack people who demand
democratic access to express their views. And what better place? It's free
and nobody's using that space anyways. It certainly would make their buildings
more interesting to look at.

To find out more about Bush and Noriega's relationship,
how many people you and I helped kill with our tax money in the 1989 invasion,
what some of the more truthful reasons for the invasion were and how the
media was kept from (and seemingly willingly by the way) telling the truth
of what happened down there by the military, click
here. Don't miss the documentary. You should be able to rent it somewhere
near you. It's called the Panama Deception.
Police brutality is a big issue everywhere
and one which is seldom discussed (click here.
) To link to a site about a man named Mumia Abu-Jamal
who has sat on death row for many years after a mockery of a trial click
here.
His New York Times counter ad may appear soon.
We have many more political prisoners than just Mumia. Protest NPR's keeping
of his radio tapes in a vault away from public scrutiny!
To access an archive of
the linguist and political analyst Noam Chomsky's talks, click here.
To be able to listen to his and Mumia's talks you can download RealPlayer
5.0 here for free.
Chomsky cuts through a lot of propaganda to get to basic rational analyses
of issues typically surrounded by hatred, ignorance and bitter class consciousness
which are conditioned into us by our organized institutions whether they
be public or private school, state, media or the "patriot" purveyors of
the american empire and socioeconomic world order.
To
access an excellent organization called MediaFilter click here.
They have links to a lot of alternative media, such as Covert Action Quarterly
which covers the CIA and COINTELPRO. What
is COINTELPRO? This picture by the way is from a coloring book created
by COINTELPRO to scare white americans and discredit the Black Panthers.
Other CIA/COINTELPRO links are The
Art Of Deception by Jim Huck and Serendipity.
Look into our domestic terrorist organization possibly getting
away with carbombing two EarthFirst activists.
Here are a couple random links
about resistance. One is about trying
to shut down a nuclear plant, another is regarding some canadians who
aren't propaganda suckers and let
George Bush know that. One thing I hear a lot of americans say is there's
no point to resisting. "That's just the way things work. We can't change
anything. There's no point." Well, to me, that's the mentality of the willing
slave and I cannot accept that. I had to limit myself in the links I've
shown but the choices for alternative analysis on the net are quite good
and I hope that doesn't change due to censorship for "national security"
reasons or through privatization.
I would like to someday get a BBS on here so there can be some intellectual
interaction and debate but that won't be for a while. I would like to say
let's get commercial advertising off the net unless it's at advertising
specific sites. All power to the people!

Don't let this
be you! Fight for the rights of others because we're all in this together!!
