Hello, I am a 3rd Year Forestry BScF Student at the University of New Brunswick. I am 21 years of age . My Birthday is September 11th.
My interests are Swimming/Piano/Guitar/Tin Whistle/Pool/Artistic with pencil sketchings; watercolours; oil painting of landscape/nature/people. One day I would like to be professinally taught in landscape painting for a year.
I have composed many Christian songs over the last few years.
January 2000, I am the *Worship Coordinator for Intervarsity Christian Fellowship, UNB Campus !
I was the Special Events & Outreach Co-Ordinator (1998) for the Intervarsity Christian Fellowship of the University of New Brunswick and St. Thomas. I was the Social Co-Ordinator prior to this. I have worked as a counsellor/instructor at a Christian Camp for over 4 summers--"Green Hill Lake Camp". During my time as councellor I played piano for the Praise and Worship Band. I taught art/crafts/piano. My favorite artcraft was making and decorating candles from simple things like flowers. One of my students even added his own bugs. :) Dough crafts were very creative making small heart-shaped jewellery boxes with hearts and a cross on top. I also liked to work with clay modeling; my greatest creation being "the Lion and Lamb"; which to this day resides at Green Hill Lake Camp. Leather crafts were fun too. I helped with decorating of tables with Wildlife sketched placements; representing each cabin. Learned to cook and grow in a Christian atmosphere. During this time I made many lifelong friends.
The summers of ('97 & '98) I have worked for the Provincial Legislative Library on computers entering and reviewing books and data for the Web. The SUMMER of 98 I worked in the research and typing departments in the library at the Provincial Legislative Library. From here I have learned a lot about MANY subjects complete with history. The history of the Province of New Brunswick, is very interesting! There is also a book of particular interest to me of the 1700's and History of my Church "Brunswick Street United Baptist" church in Fredericton, New Brunswick. CANADA.
This summers of 99 and 2000. I worked for the Department of Natural Resources, in a Tree Improvement Nursery. I liked working with the seniors of the "Tree Nursery and Improvement" division of the Kingsclear Office. Working with new tree species; travelling across the Province to different Nursery's. There were days I felt like a "tree doctor" injecting growth serum! :) It has been fun working in my field of studies and to get actual work experience. So far I really have enjoyed working at my new job!!!!! :) :) :)
I the summer(99) I was in the outreach Worship Band from Brunswick Street called Kingdom Builder's Worship Team (Graeme Sweet, Vicki Leigh Noble, Richard Crosby, Joanna Doak, Ross Cunningham).
(June 27-30/ 99), we have seen a lot of youth from, Ontario, Nova Scotia, Saint John,N.B., Keswick,N.B. and the Fredericton Area. June 30th we were at Douglas United Baptist Church.
In July 1999, I was in the Brunswick Street Christian Band called "Sanctuary". We do a lot of STONELEIGH Music. Stoneleigh is the best there is for the movement of the Holy Spirit ! Summer 2000 I am involved with Brunswick Street's Evening Contemporary Worship.
During my Christmas Break '98 from U.N.B. , I have been working for the Department of Labour on a computer, entering data forms. It has been fun and exciting meeting new people ! Remember, the next form you fill out "could be mine" :)
I am part of the Praise band of "Sunday Night Live"; which reaches out to surrounding areas of Fredericton.
I AM ALSO A SINGER IN THE PRAISE BAND ON THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW BRUNSWICK CAMPUS "INTERVARSITY CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP" WHICH MEETS EVERY THURSDAY AT 7PM IN THE ALUMNI MEMORIAL BUILDING ON U.N.B. CAMPUS.
I am currently a Singer in Celebration Worship Band ~ Youth Service once a month (3rd Sunday of each month) at Brunswick Street United Baptist Church ~ Time: 6:30 pm.
Brunswick Street has a good College & Career Bible Study at 9:30 am each Sunday before Church at 11 am in the York House in Room Y1 taught by Donna & Russ Crosby !
There is also a College Basketball Game on Wednesday Nights in the Gym at Brunswick Street United Baptist Church starting at 9 pm; sometimes subject to change for special events !
Saturdays at 7:30 pm there is badminton (Gym) ~ Brunswick Street United Baptist Church.
MY DRAWING HAS BEEN CHOSEN TO BE ON OUR T-SHIRTS THIS YEAR FOR OUR IVCF GROUP, FOR THIS FALL 1998, WHICH TO ME HAS BEEN A GREAT HONOUR. LOOK FOR OUR T-SHIRTS ON CAMPUS THIS FALL.
I Love Canoeing and have a Level 11; I also have many certificates in Swimming; including Lifeguard/Instructor and have been trained in Senior Resuscitation.
I like hiking and many outdoor activities including Camping.
I have travelled a lot in years past with my parents to Prince Edward Island and Florida. I have seen Disney/Epcott/Seaworld/Cypress Gardens/Bock Tower/ as well as many Horticulture displays. These memories will remain in my heart forever !!!
