sweet ones
Whenever, Wherever

          Wherever you go,
          I'll stand by your side.
          Wherever life takes you,
          I'll follow with pride.
          Whenever life hurts you,
          I'll hold your hand.
          Whenever you feel pain,
          I'll understand.
          Although life has problems,
          We'll make it through
          As long as you remember,
          I love you.

Close your eyes

We seem so far apart
Miles between you and I
What we have can last
It doesn't have to die

If you feel alone
As you lay beneath the stars
Just think of what we share
Remember what is ours

So just close your eyes
And I'll be by your side
No matter what your problem
Without fear you can confide

Just close your eyes
And I'll always be near
You know if I could touch you
I'd wipe away that tear

So just close your eyes

Although as we walk now
Only one set of footprints are seen
We don't travel alone
I'm a force on which you can lean

We've shared too much
To let ourselves part
Memories, feelings, words
Always remain within our heart

So just close your eyes
And I'll be by your side
No matter how we feel
We never have to hide

Just close your eyes
And I'll always be near
I care for you
You have nothing to fear

So just close your eyes

We are within reach
Even if we're out of sight
Always be secure
Remember our talk that night

Years from now we'll still
Have what we have now
So you don't have to worry
About when, why, how

So just close your eyes
And I'll be by your side
What we have will survive
It cannot be denied

Just close your eyes
And I'll always be near
Only with your eyes open
Will the pain sear

So just close your eyes

Our Last Kiss

Our last kiss, he made it linger
Then to my lips, he placed his finger
He said, "Please don't speak, I love you so"
I gave him his ring, he turned to go
I was that tear roll down his face
And thought back his warm embrace
I was so young, I didn't see how
His love was real, I see that know
For the rest of my life, his love I'll miss
But I will remember our last kiss
