PRIOR TO 1973
As a Consultant for Arthur Young & Co, participated in upgrade of systems at California Department of Public Health. Installed accounting systems for several counties and companies. Audited several electronic companies. Assisted with minority start-up companies.

As an industrial engineer for Kennecott Copper, operated a test facility for extraction of copper from waste water. Analyzed rail traffic patterns to reduce mill down time. Analyzed capital improvements for return on investment. Developed and tested new mill equipment. Reviewed safety projects.
