Each qualified participant paid a $15 entry fee, and the Club made a contribution of $225 (i.e. matching the participant’s $15 entry fee) for a total cash prize pool of $450. The entire prize pool will be distributed to the cash shootout participants. There will be no prizes other than the cash prizes. Each participant could only win one prize.

Approximately one hundred marked tokens and well over one thousand “other” tokens were planted on the designated hunt field. The winners of the hunt were not determined based on the number of tokens found, but from a “blind draw” for specific token numbers or identified tokens. The more tokens one found, the better the chances of having the winning token(s).

Prizes were awarded as follows:

1st Prize $200 Dan Lohberger
2nd Prize 100 Dean Henry
3rd Prize 75 Paul Dallin
4th Prize 50 Sam Modrall
5th Prize 25 Matt Russell

Standard Club hunt rules were applied. All coins were to be planted by tossing or minimal hiding. No digging tools were allowed. Pin pointers were acceptable.

Cash Hunt participants were limited only to designated individuals.

But, the event was open to EVERYONE to watch, cheer, boo, hiss… or nearly anything other than toss additional targets on the hunt field! And be sure to stay off the hunt field during the hunt.

There were BBQ pits, tables and shade; so many participants provided donuts, charcoal, drinks, hot dogs, sausages, home-made chili, beef kabobs, salads, desserts and several great side dishes.

A great time was had by all.
