About Me
Hi!, My name is Walt I'm a divorced 48 year old Baby Boomer in Maryland, but I was born and raised in what was considered "Rural New Jersey". I like good people and friends to talk to and be with. I am basically Country at heart, but still like my visits to bigger places around the country. I like to go for long walks, camping out (preferably with a tent), fishing, bicycle riding, writing poetry, reading, cooking (mostly Italian dishes, but Traditional American too) or even just staying home to watch a good old movie on TV at times, and riding rides at Amusement Parks. I've been online since July 1998 and met quite a few people that I've chatted with on line with, either 1:1 or at chat room parties I've attended. I am always open to new and exciting things ( or adventures as my friends call then). I have a sense of humor . It's needed to survive these times, yet I do know when I should be serious too. Life isn't a bowl of cherries but we have to make the best of it. After turning 40 I started believing: "I want to do it all before I die" (A 40s saying I guess). I am an honest person and prefer being with other honest people Bears just wanna have fun but I do have my serious side too
I like Honest in people since there is so much dishonesty in the world these days. I like to help friends if humanly possible. If a person can't be truthful to me it isn't worth either of our times talking I love to be Loved If you give me a chance I'll Love you to death
I dislike people (including myself) being lied to, hurt by others, and people using others as a stepping stone to achieve an means to an end. People are people and there is good and bad in every country, group, ethnic group. etc. I just hope I meet the people who can treat me as good as I will treat them back
