Tennessee Walker

Tennessee Walker

The Tennessee Walker is a solid student with good learning aptitude. Although not an overly enthusiastic worker, you can expect him to work hard all day without an argument simply because you've asked him to.

The breed is know for being among the most naturally good-tempered of all the saddle-horse breeds. Adaptable and sure of himself, he's said to face challenges and stress with calm determination. He responds to humans with good-natured compliance.

Relatively unflappable, this breed is not one to overreact when frightened. He has a very low flight and self-protection impulse.
