In the time it took, for you to read this all,
Summer was here, now it has turned to fall,
She forgot to write, he forgot to call,
Someone felt his pain and wrote it on the wall.

In the time it took, for me to write this song,
Autumn has gone, now winter has come along,
She didn't forgive, when he got it wrong,
Someone died today as God couldn't wait too long.

Remember what you have, things you love.
Take care of today, time is passing on.
So stop and look around, before your soul rises above..
