Washrooms , Signs , and Key Rings

Canadian Oil Companies Limited took great pride in their public restrooms and issued many directives to station managers ,insisting on cleanliness and comfort.
The earliest signs I have have are shown in the upper portion of the photo on the left. They are printed on a composite type  board , with brass grommets in the corners. My first reaction was that they weren't too old , but i have since been told masonite has been arround  since the twenties. My guess is that they were made during the wartime metal shortages.
Below these are the " elongated wedge " style sign  made of porcelain after 1953. Also shown are the matching washroom key rings. The "men" is metal , the "ladies "is heavy plastic. The key ring on the right is plastic  and purposely made oversize to prevent customers accidentally walking away with it.
