Basic Image Alignment and Tags
We are going to talk about adding images to your pages but not
only aligning them. After all there are alot of things that you can do with images on your pages.
For this lesson we will be working with this
One thing that you have to remember is that if you do not put in the align tag your image will automatically go to the left hand side of your page like this does.
Now if you want your image to be in the middle of your page you would do it like this.
<center><img
src="https://members.tripod.com/~Willing2Help/subdirectory3/home03.gif" width="66" height="66" border="0" alt="HomeSweetHome"></center>
If you want your image to be on the right of your page you would do it like this.
<img
src="https://members.tripod.com/~Willing2Help/subdirectory3/home03.gif" width="66" height="66" border="0" alt="HomeSweetHome"
align="right">
If you would like your image to be larger you would do it like this.
<center><img
src="https://members.tripod.com/~Willing2Help/subdirectory3/home03.gif" width="95" height="95" border="0" alt="HomeSweetHome"</center>
You notice that with the smaller home the width was 66 as well
as the height. All I did was increase the width and height numbers. To make any image the way you want it just play with the numbers.
By the way, you should always add the width, height, border, and alt tags to your imagines because it does make your page load much faster. I always set the border tags on 0 and for the alt tag, you can name the image what ever you want.
Now, lets say you want to make an image clickable to go to a certain page or website. This is how you would do this.

Every house needs a frame.
Here is how to frame your house.
