Kate Winslet has been nominated for the British Actress of the Year award by the London Critics Circle. Her co-nominees are Helena Bonham Carter, Julie Christie, Minnie Driver, Louise Goodall, Kristin Scott Thomas, and Catherine Zeta Jones. The ceremonies at which the awards will be presented will be on March 4th in the Dorcester Hotel

Kate was nominated for a People's Choice Award for Favorite Motion Picture Actress. The award show was January 10th on CBS and they showed the flying scene clip of Kate from Titanic where she says, "Jack...I'm flying".
