ARIZONA BIKEWEEK 2002


Weather was hot for that time of year. I liked it better when they held it in February. 
The AHDRA drags at Firebird Raceway were awesome; huge engines, pretty girls, vendors, 
good food. 

Village of Cave Creek also had their street rally going on all week. Though they started 
out having city permit problems and lots of official opposition everything went off great. 
Lots of vendors at the various sponsoring bars and restaurants. Great food and drink packages 
at the sponsoring establishments. Got crowded at times since there was also a Jazz Fest going on. 

Cyclefest at WestWorld (shows, vendors, music, food, drinks, fun) seemed larger than last year; 
more semi-dressed women, more vendors, more food services, more demo rides. Lots of great weather 
for riding. See ya next year if you can get out this way.

Many statewide events from the Grand Canyon to southern Arizona. Lots of rides, bike nights 
and concerts.
