Q) What modem standard does the DISHPlayer support, X2, Flex, 56k, v90?
A) X2.

Q) Will it upgrade from the X2 to V90?
A) The DISHPlayer modem is software upgradeable so can be upgraded to V90. Timing has not been determined.

Q) According to all press releases, the WebTV units are each noted as being WindowsCE compatible--does this mean the new Classic, Plus and the DISHPlayer?
A) Just the DISHPlayer has been designed such that it can be upgraded to WindowsCE in the future via a software download. Timing has not been determined.

Q) Will the old Plus move up to V90?
A) The old Plus is currently V.90. (It originally shipped with a Kflex modem.)

Note in a later email the Waggener Edstrom representative ammended their answer regarding Windows CE implementation to include the new Plus unit as well. Also the reference to my knee was because I dislocated my kneecap not long ago. X
