The cush drive/hub unit on the R1 has proven to be the weak link
in the bike. JT Motorsports at 1-800-276-8247 sells this
billet aluminum cush drive/hub unit. Yamaha is aware of this problem
and will replace broken cush drives under warranty but if you need
a unit that you won't have to worry about breaking......this is it.
