TSIPOUROVRADIA 2005
Ο Πολιτιστικός Σύλλογος "Γιάννινα" διοργάνωσε και φέτος με μεγάλη
επιτυχία, ξεπερνώντας κάθε προηγούμενη, την 12η Τσιπουροβραδιά που
γίνεται την καθιερωμένη ετήσια ημερομηνία του πρώτου Σαββάτου του Φεβρουαρίου.
Στην κατάμεστη με μεγάλους και μικρούς κοινοτική αίθουσα του
Αγίου Δημητρίου Τζαμέϊκας, Νέας Υόρκης αντάμωσαν 550 και πλέον
άτομα, Γιαννιώτες ομογενείς και μη, και πιστοί φίλοι του συλλόγου
ανεξαρτήτου καταγωγής, οι οποίοι κατέφθασαν απο διάφορες πολιτείες,
οπως της Νέα Υερσέης, Κονέκτικατ, Πενσυλβάνιας, Μασσαχουσέτης,
και Νέου Χαμσάϊρ.
The First Saturday of February,YIANNINA CULTURAL ASSOCIATION,
throws the BIGGEST party in the area,(NY,NJ,CT).
It is a night Full of Yiannina,Full of Tradition,Full of Greece.
Traditional foods and drinks are offered,and the TSIPOURO is
flowing free all night.
The night is full of Dancing,singing,and the sounds of the
Folk band,that the Association flew in especially for that night from Greece.
This year , like last year , the demand was so great, the night was sold out !
Over 600 of our friends ate, danced and drank, the free TSIPOURO, all night,
to the early hours of the morning.
The next day, the local Greek press raved about the event,that Every Year its
getting better!
