Virginia Biographies History
In May of 1997, the US Biographies project was organized by Jeff Murphy, using the established KY Biographies Project as a model. State coordinators were sought to set up their own state projects. They were offered the system design and tools created for the KY project, but were free to set up their project in any way they chose. Volunteers are needed to enter, edit, and archive the biographies for each project. WE NEED YOU!!!!
The project is in need of County Coordinators to maintain County Biographies pages. If you have biographies you would like to donate for Virginia or if you would like to volunteer as a County Coordinator please contact me.

The following is a list of recent additions to our web. Whenever we add a researcher, County Coordinator or contributor, or anything else to our web, we'll put a notice here. The most recent changes are listed first, and each item is linked to the page with the updated content.
