Zawadi calendar

The presentations of the Zawadi Writers have been used as effective teaching and learning tools within educational institutions. The educational philosophy of the Zawadi Writers can adapt to the curriculums of both public and private schools. The Zawadi Writers believe that when children are presented with information in a way which causes them to laugh, muse, and use critical thinking skills, they will retain and integrate this information at an optimal level. The Zawadi Writer's "info-tainment" seeks to inspire students to become active participants in their own intellectual growth, to aquire more knowledge of African-American culture, and to form from this new-found knowledge a deeper understanding of the beautiful mosaic which makes up the uniquely American Experience.
