Dressed For Black

I got the time.
Time on my side to stare.
Those pine valley floors;
Trigger the rumors complete.
A trigger to care and hate.
I walk freely in the park, staring at the trees.
I used to work at the university.
But not after,
A madman shot my class.
The stress builds up so fast.
Anxieties after a great loss.
It's crazy,
It's amazing more didn't get shot, with all the rounds going off.
All the clips littering the floor.
Bodies stopped in motion.
Blood covered walls.
Air ducts turned into reserviors.
I had to walk away.
I have my family,
I have my family,
None of the parents have that same security.
I'm sure they must hate me.
For surviving this long.
Hearing the blood curlding screams.
Washing out my emotion in the dream.
Feeling like a fly trapped between the window and the screen.
In that invisible box.
The fear of escape makes the journey more wicked.
Settle down on the roughage.
Fly side to side.
Travel ever so close to the last page of hell.
The standard line.
You come in this world alone, and you leave even less.
Look out to the skies and watch your demise fade to truth.
It's a shock to the system.
When you feel the heat of the sun and know of the cold wind to come.
Losing your grasp of free will and time.
Wanting to fly one more day.
Faster and faster I stay in flight.
Till my wings blister in decay.
A day of reckoning bliss.
Close your eyes to the trap that is in disguise.
No one will see the end of you.
Motors going to the grind.

An Avenue

To have the branches so close.
In anguish over the upcoming breeze.
Pick the answer that is most incorrect
Cloudy sketches all in a row.
Bring me down to a snails pace.
In chase of the red line.
As I beckon the powers that will and be.
Safe in the house of common.
Strengthening the vows of compromise.
With the sheilds and deflectors off.
Delaying the sound of the first cries.
Lavishing myself in the rest.
Not to see the perfect aisle from the perceptions of the past.
Forever more putting up with her to play the part of the hidden jerk.
Demanding nothing but to be kept.
Lost in the perpetual roller coaster.
Softening with each days grime.

Whispers Written In The Sky

Salutations from the dead.
Will make you stand up and cheer.
While the old Russian man flies.
Up on the hill, the jogger runs free into the fog.
Never to been seen.
The crime is hidden by the density of the morning dew.
And the underlying river.
Trampled by time.
Always releasing slowly.
No one knows how to stand.
With the body fallen from the mound.
Still the shoes sweat on the side.
Look to the future from the past, the crimes are gone but they last.
Seeking out his father's revenge.
Everthing around is surrounded by a single emotion.
That energy with fear of the unknown.
What will be and what has been stalking the night and day.
This world has taken and gave.
A deliberate recessive action entangling many peoples lives never to be answered correctly.

Take my mind,
Wil You?
Forty-five minutes of terror.
And I didn't even open the door.
I can't wake up anymore without the fear.
Once taken it can never be restored.
I'll never be the same person again.
The sad thing is that he will always be.
Nobody understands,
The pain doesn't leave when he has.
One wound that time won't heal.
The courts say I was not raped because he didn't violate me enough to have visible scars.
Oh don't let him near or even close to a jail cell.
Let him start a new life at age twenty-one.
Yes he is too young to know what he has done.
I can't go back to my own bedroom tonight.
A thousand answers.
Don't ask me!
When I call, I will be in need.
It may be hard but try to understand me.
Yes I am alive and surviving day to day.
I am here, listen to me loud and clear.
I have refurbished my mind and body.
You won't be able to come near.
Don't ever try it again.
I am and I will be for a long time to see.
I have taken the power you had over me and given it back to its original owner.
Yah! That's me!
I am stronger than you will ever be.
