The International Appeal

We, the Sudanese nationals in Diaspora, declare to the Sudanese people trapped inside the Sudan as hostages to GOS/NIF, that:

1 ) In view of the prevailing situation in Sudan under the current regime which is committing massive human rights violations ranging from using famine as a weapon against millions in the south, forcible conscription of young boys to the war, escalation of war on the southern and eastern frontiers and the possibility of spreading to the western frontier, the total collapse of the national economy, destruction of the social fabrics of the Sudanese society, the deterioration of security in several parts of the country and the state of anarchy, confusion and human rights abuses which are becoming a common practice as it was seen from the massacre of Ailafoun where over 300 conscripts were announced killed or missing, and the man made famine in Bahr-al-Ghazal Province which is threatening the lives of over one million people.

2 ) It became very clear and certain that the GOS/NIF is posing a great threat to the existence of Sudan as a nation, and that any delay in changing the current regime will cost Sudan more.

3 ) All Sudanese nationals in Diaspora are requested to sign on this chart declaring to the Sudanese people and to the international community that the GOS/NIF is not representing the will of the Sudanese people and that the current military regime of General Omer Hassan Ahmed Elbashir must step down to pave the way for the Sudanese National Democratic Alliance to restore peace, stability and the democratic multi-party system to Sudan.

4 ) All possible efforts must be exerted to support the ongoing struggle of the Sudanese people inside Sudan against the brutality ofGOS/NIF.

5 ) The international community and the friends of Sudan are invited to support the cause of the Sudanese people to restore democracy, peace and stability in Sudan.
