He was the son of Thomas Boudreau and Peggy Aucoin of Belle Marche, Inverness Co., Nova Scotia and was a native of Cheticamp, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia

Eve was laid to rest in Aubigny Communal Cemetery Extension in France.

Cemetery Location: Aubigny-en-Artois is a village approximately 15 kilometres north-west of Arras on the road to St. Pol. Aubigny Communal Cemetery is south of the village and the Extension is behind it.

Turning into the village from the N.39 on the D.75, the Cemetery lies south on a road leading from the centre of the village.
