Alexander Landry, Service Number: 470249, served in the Army with the Canadian Infantry, New Brunswick Regiment, 26th Bn.

He was the son of Peter J. and Caroline Landry of Pomquet, Nova Scotia.

Alexander was laid to rest in Regina Trench Cemetery in France.

Cemetery Location: Courcelette is a village about 8 kilometres north-east of Albert (next to the main road D929 Albert- Bapaume). The Regina Trench Cemetery lies about 1.5 kilometres north-west of the village.

The Regina Trench Cemetery (signposted in the centre of Courcelette) is 1.5 kilometres down a single track lane (suitable for cars).
