If you surf the net long enough, you will learn that "There are many ways to skin a cat." I have found that deer hunting is no different. I have seen on various bulletin boards and chat lines hunters chastised by other hunters for:

  • Hunting over bait.

  • Hunting with shotguns.

  • Hunting with certain caliber rifles.

  • Hunting from trees.

  • Harvesting more than one deer.

  • Hunting with a recurve bow.

  • Hunting with dogs.

  • Hunting while driving deer.

  • Hunting over salt.

  • Shining a light at night to only look at deer.

And all of these hunters were within the law of their state while doing these things. So, lighten up on each other from time to time. You may realize before long that not everyone hunts the same way as you do. Maybe that's why Baskin Robbins offers 31 flavors.
