BRIGHTON BRITISH SONG COMPETITION MAY 1965

A three day event- May 24th, 25th, and 26th, at The Dome, Brighton which was designed to select an act to represent the UK at the San Remo
Song Festival later in the year, and was compered by Keith Fordyce and Anne Nightingale.

With Cliff Bennett and The Rebel Rousers, Dave Berry and The Cruisers, Kenny Lynch, Marianne Faithfull, Maureen Evans, Ivy League, The Moody Blues, Billy J. Kramer and The Dakotas, Elkie Brooks, Julie Rogers, Lulu, Manfred Mann, Mark Wynter, Vince Hill, Wayne Fontana and The Mindbenders.

Helen sang 'Here in your arms' and Lulu won, singing 'Leave a little love'
