Mark 4:2 "And he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in his doctrine,
3 Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:
4 And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.
5 And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:
6 But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.
7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
8 And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.
9 And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear."

God has a garden…you know,
And, that garden is YOU;
He's invested a lot of time,
And effort…'tis true.

This garden…called YOU,
Has been plowed-up and tilled;
He's a Master Gardener,
Most knowledgeable and skilled.

He knows just what's necessary,
In YOU…to produce an abundant harvest;
Destruction and ill-will,
Are from His mind…the farthest.

Sometimes…it just feels like,
YOU can't take anymore;
But, our trials are self-inflicted,
God, really is our Mentor.

Sometimes…He uses people,
That one called YOU…to purge;
Your soil needs breaking-up,
For new life to emerge.

Do YOU want a 30% increase,
In your life…today;
Then, expect minor problems,
Upon your life…to play.

And, 60% may sound so great,
But, have YOU counted the cost?
There's a price to be paid,
Nothing ventured…nothing lost.

"I'd like 100% increase",
Words that sound so brave…sincere;
But, do YOU know the heartache,
The loneliness…and the tears?

Or, YOU could shrink-back,
Not wanting any increase;
Just a peaceful life,
And, all the stress to cease.

I know…a garden…YOU want to be,
First-fruits…and those a'plenty;
So, have Your way…my LORD,
Plow-up this soil that's rocky.

One-hundred fold…Your perfect plan,
We want to do Your will;
This garden called YOU…responds,
Sow the Seed of Your Word…Your will, fulfill.
