Has God blessed you with abundance,
Many talents…to you entrust;
Was it just to store up,
To amass…rust, and turn to dust?
Or did He bless you,
That you might…in return;
Be a blessing to others,
‘Tis a lesson we all need to learn.
For with each and every talent,
Each blessing in disguise;
Also comes responsibility,
We soon…..realize.
To some…it is great wealth,
To others…our ability;
A good steward we must be,
Of all He has given…freely.
Using sound judgment…surely,
Praying for His guidance;
Using wisely what He’s given,
In obedience…not over-indulgence.
Don’t take it lightly,
When you are showered with a blessing;
For it’s what we do with it,
In the final ending.
Is mankind made alittle better,
By the gift we have received;
Has it helped someone along the way,
To dare to hope…to believe?
Or have we kept it to ourselves,
For me…myself…and I;
Can I take it with me when I go,
All the things that I did buy?
I think not…and so do you,
So, why not pass it on;
That others’ lives be made much richer,
Even after we are gone?
A gift that keeps on giving,
Is the one we’ve given away;
Not clutching it to our bosom,
But, letting it go…today.
See how big your blessing grows,
As you pass it on to others;
This is our responsibility,
A helping hand to our sisters…to our brothers.
