In the cool of the day,
Come..take a stroll with Me;
Down to the meadow,
Just past the trees.

Hand-in-hand, we'll walk together,
All of nature to behold;
Shaded elm trees…babbling brook,
Dip our feet in…My, it's cold!

Times of refreshing,
So needed by us all;
Some times we're just too busy,
Our world becomes too small.

So caught-up in the worldly,
Our problems and our cares;
No time for the Heavenly,
Use this time…to prepare.

Even Adam had these times,
Of refreshment with our God;
In the cool of the day,
They, along this path did trod.

And, JESUS knew the benefit,
Of time spent with His Father;
With all the cares of this world,
He needed time to recover.

So, let us take the time,
Walk and talk with our LORD;
He has so much to share with us,
Teach us…about our God.
