What does the future hold,
What is just around the bend;
For life does take many turns,
From the beginning…to the end.

We have things so very planned,
And, usually they don't go that way;
How much easier 'twould be,
If we'd heed more to what Father did say.

Our times are in His hand,
He knows what's best for us;
If only we'd put all in His hand,
And, in Him…fully trust.

Looking back…upon our lives,
We can begin to see;
That He really did know best,
And, worked it out…for you and me.

What is the lesson I did learn,
Throughout life and its many turns;
We're here for such a short time,
To know just "why"…our hearts do yearn.

Throught all the years,
A thread of gold…I began to see;
Especially in the hard times,
I allowed Him to draw closer to me.

For we are put here on the earth,
To learn of Father's ways;
To meet He who is LOVE,
Then, pass that LOVE on…all our days.

Each and every day we have a choice,
To LOVE or to fear;
"Love" draws closer to our God,
"Fear" recoils…draws back, with tears.

Of course…we'll all choose LOVE,
And, still…we count the cost;
When we choose to LOVE,
Nothing is ever lost.

We learn more of Father's nature,
Become more and more like Him;
He's preparing us…..people,
And, His kindom…He's ushering in.

Allow that thread of gold,
To be woven into your life;
That others may see Father's LOVE,
And, put an end to their strife.

What the future holds,
Only Father really knows;
But, we've learned to trust Him,
And, that trust just grows and grows.

We know who holds the future,
Father holds it…in His hand;
Let His LOVE be seen by others,
So that they, too…shall understand.
