Have you felt beat down…lately,
Your life…a bit of a mess?
Well, ‘tis not GOD’S PLAN for us,
He wants only the very best.

Sometimes we make poor choices,
And, then He gets blamed;
When it’s we…who brought it upon ourselves,
Responsibility…we should have claimed.

Do you lack peace within you,
There’s such stress and turmoil;
As the flame burns higher and higher,
Soon the pot will overflow.

But, God offers us peace,
Evil is not in GOD’S PLAN;
And, He offers this peace to us,
To every child…woman and man.

He wants us to have a future,
One that’s full of hope;
But, we are so very short-sighted,
Our vision limited…and our scope.

All He asks is that we call upon Him,
Take time out…and pray;
He promises to listen,
He will hear all that we say.

When we truly seek Him,
Then, find Him…we shall;
For HIS PLAN…our very best,
He only wishes us well.

When we do seek after Him,
Let it be with all our heart;
Like David of old…let it be said,
That we are a man…after God’s own heart.
