Gal. 5:18 "But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law."

The grace of God…how powerful,
The captives to set free;
Not giving license to sin,
But, giving liberty.

For where His Spirit is,
There is great liberty;
To be led by His Spirit,
Be all He'd have us to be.

Some use the grace of our God,
To do just as they please;
They bring disgrace to His name,
Their guilty conscience…ease.

Those who buy the truth and sell it not,
Liberty…they choose;
When, by His Spirit, we are led,
As true sons…we cannot lose.

So, be not fearful of God's grace,
Though some may abuse it;
God has everything under control,
To misuse it…is unfortunate.

God's grace is ever-powerful,
It's our ability to change;
Not with our own efforts,
But, letting Him…our lives rearrange.

And, surely of a truth,
Grace is unmerited favor;
For nothing we could ever do,
Would ever make us holier.

So, let God's grace have free course,
It will change our lives;
No longer prisoners…we're set free,
Not bound by law…we have free choice.

Let all our actions come from,
A heart that's full of love;
Not legislated to be good,
But, governed by that Love!
