Rom. 8:2 "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."

Have you ever done a study,
Of the "Law" and "Grace" of our God?
You'll find it most interesting,
Not like our old teachings…that's very odd!

In the Old Testament…Old Covenant,
God tells us…by the "Law"…to put;
All our enemies under our feet, (Psa.47:2-3)
In a sense…give them the "boot".

That old "Law" of sin and death,
The one…nobody could keep;
Showed us the need for a better way,
The schoolmaster (Law) brought us to Christ.(Gal.3:24)

And, what is this…that we do find,
While searching in the New;
This New Covenant…He has for us,
Something entirely…brand-new.

Sit down…while "I" (God) do make,
Every enemy…your footstool;(Psa.110:1)
Sit down…to me…implies,
To REST…or "Grace"…in our God's school.

Too long we tried it on our own,
'Til finally we saw;
Our God would rather do it…Himself,
His work…Eternal…evermore.

No longer hiding from the "Law",
Because we could not keep it;
We're now set free IN CHRIST,
Free…to be led by His Spirit.

We'll come boldly before the throne of "Grace",
To obtain mercy and find grace;
In our time of need,(Heb.4:16)
And, we shall see Him…face-to-face!
